The kids woke up when they heard that Usopp had left a while ago, and they didn't know where he went. They also learned the names of the three kids, which were Piiman, Ninjin, and Tamanegi.
"Has he left?" Piiman asked.
"He said it was time to go, and then he just left" Zoro said.
"Then it was time for him to go to the mansion" Piiman said.
"To the girl's mansion?" Nami asked.
"Yes" Ninjin replied.
"And what does he do there?" Luffy asked.
"He goes there to lie" Ninjin said.
"To lie? But that's not good" Luffy said.
"No, no, it's actually good. Right?" Piiman said.
"Yes, very, very good!" Tamanegi said.
Luffy and the others didn't understand very well, so the kids began to explain what he did.
They told them that Usopp went there to tell her stories so she could have fun, even if they were lies.

The kids started saying reasons why they admired him, which were completely strange things about Usopp.

"Well then!! Let's go to the mansion and ask for the ship!!" Luffy shouted decisively.
"We already said no!!" Nami yelled.
Despite what Nami said, they were now standing in front of the mansion.
"Hello! Can you give us a ship?!" Luffy shouted loudly, but got no answer, so he began climbing the gate. "I'm going in!"
"And why does he greet them?" the three kids asked.
"Even if I tried to stop him, I couldn't" Nami said resigning herself.
"We'd better go in with him" Zoro said.
"One undeniable thing about Luffy is that he's really fun… but very stubborn" Oliver said.
Luffy was already inside, so the rest had to go in too.
"Should we climb too?" Ninjin asked.
Oliver thought about something, then approached and simply pushed the gate, which opened.
"I guess climbing wasn't necessary. Come on, before he does something stupid" Oliver said.
They all went in, and the kids guided them to where Usopp was.
He was under a tree telling a story to Kaya.
"The dwarves were so grateful that they started calling me..." Usopp was saying.
"Captain" the three kids said.
"Yes, Captain. Huh? What are all of you doing here?" Usopp said with wide eyes, seeing everyone there.
"This guy told us to bring him" the kids said, pointing at Luffy.
"Who is it?" Kaya asked.
"Oh, you're the girl!" Luffy said.
Not knowing what Luffy would say, Usopp quickly moved beside him to tell one of his lies.
"These people have heard of my greatness and came to ask if I'd let them join Usopp's pirate crew."
"None of that. I came to ask you for a favor" Luffy said, denying Usopp's lie.
"A favor? From me?" Kaya asked.
"Yes, we want a big ship" Luffy said happily, thinking he could get one.
"What are you doing here?!" a man shouted angrily.
The voice came from a man with short slicked-back black hair, round glasses, and wearing a black butler suit.
'Kuro. How did they not realize how similar his name was?' Oliver thought upon seeing him.
"It's not right to enter someone else's home!!" the butler yelled.
"Klahadore" Kaya said, looking at the butler.
"Who's that?" Luffy asked, not knowing who he was.
"Klahadore, these people are—"
Kaya was going to tell him they wanted a ship, but she couldn't because of the butler.
"I don't want to hear any excuses right now, Miss Kaya. You'd better leave immediately, unless you have something to say?" Kuro asked them.
"Can you give us a ship?" Luffy asked, happy.
"No" Kuro said.
Kuro's rejection depressed Luffy a little, and Zoro patted him on the back to console him.
"You, Usopp..." Kuro said, looking at him. "I've heard a lot of rumors about you."
"Of course. You can call me Captain if you want. Many people adore me" Usopp said, telling another lie.
"The guards already know they shouldn't let you in, so tell me, what are you doing here?" the butler asked, adjusting his glasses.
"Mmm... well, I saw a giant ant near the mansion, so…"
Usopp was going to lie again, but Kuro interrupted him.
"Your stories are disgusting" Kuro replied.
"What did you say?" Usopp asked, offended.

"His father is a pirate?" Luffy asked curiously.
Everyone present felt a bit uncomfortable, except Oliver, who was just watching the pathetic show Kuro was putting on.

"You are nothing like Miss Kaya. What do you want from her? Money? And if so, how much?" he asked directly.
"You've gone too far, Klahadore!! Apologize to Usopp right now!!" Kaya shouted angrily, demanding it immediately.
"Why would I apologize to this trash? I only spoke the truth. What's wrong with that? I understand you're angry because you have a worthless father. A father who abandoned his family to sail the seas looking for treasure—he didn't care about you at all" Kuro said, being extremely insulting toward Usopp.
"Stop it already!" Kaya yelled.
"Stop insulting me!" Usopp shouted, barely holding himself back from punching him again.
"Are you angry? You're not very smart. Why don't you just lie and say you're not his son?" the butler said, adjusting his glasses again while mocking Usopp. "Or that your father is a merchant, or anything else but a pirate."
"SHUT UP!!" Usopp yelled angrily, punching him hard in the face and knocking him down.
Everyone watched the scene — Kaya and the kids were shocked, but Luffy and the others just watched quietly.
"See? You're a violent person just like your father" the butler said, adjusting his glasses again.
"SHUT UP!! I'M PROUD THAT MY FATHER BECAME A PIRATE! AND THAT MY FATHER IS THE BRAVEST PIRATE IN THE WORLD!! Even though I really love to lie, I would never lie about where I come from! And even less about my pirate blood! I AM THE SON OF A PIRATE!" Usopp shouted, saying everything he felt about his origins.
"Now I remember, he is..." Luffy said, recalling someone he met long ago.
"The bravest in the world? Don't make me laugh! Clearly you've inherited his savagery. You meet someone who disagrees with you and immediately attack them violently. All you care about is Miss Kaya's money" Kuro said as he stood up and brushed off his clothes.
"What?! I'm not—"
Usopp was about to deny it, but couldn't.
"I don't want to hear excuses! You're the son of a pirate, that already says everything about you!" Kuro yelled, making Usopp even angrier.
"DO NOT DARE INSULT MY FATHER!"
Usopp, furious, was about to hit him again, but Oliver stopped him, placing a hand in front of him.
"Don't do it. It's not worth it" Oliver said, stopping Usopp, then looked at Kuro. "Hey, Cat. You'd better calm down and listen to your boss, unless you want a stronger hit."
Kuro froze for a moment upon hearing the word "Cat."
'Does he know about me?' Kuro thought while staring at Oliver before returning to normal. "Get out of here!"
Oliver knew everything would be revealed later anyway, but that didn't take away the anger he felt hearing all the insults toward Usopp.
'Calm down. He'll get beaten later' Oliver thought, calming himself.
Usopp glared angrily at Kuro and left the mansion without looking back.
"Idiot! Our captain isn't like you say!"
"You're stupid!"
"Yeah, yeah! Stupid!"
The three kids shouted angrily at the butler for insulting their captain.
"Idiot!" Luffy shouted angrily.
"Hey, don't get involved" Zoro told him.
"Let's get him!"
The three kids rushed forward to try to hit him, but Nami stopped them.
"You'll pay for that!" Luffy shouted similarly, but Zoro held him back.
Everyone left the mansion, some angrier than others.

Usopp had left the area while the group remained at the side of the road. However, in a moment of distraction, Luffy had also disappeared.
"Where's Luffy?" asked Nami.
"He probably went after Usopp," said Zoro, leaning against a tree.
While they talked, Oliver was doing some exercises to test his Talent, Warrior Mindset.
"If you're looking for the Captain, he's probably there," said Ninjin.
"Yeah, at the beach. He always goes there when he's stressed," added Piiman.
"Do you want to go?" the two kids asked.
"No," Zoro replied.
"By the way, where's the other kid?" asked Nami, noticing he had also disappeared.
"Tamanegi? He always disappears," said Piiman.
"And comes back yelling after a while," added Ninjin.
Just as the kids said, Tamanegi came running and yelling about an imminent danger, claiming that a man was walking toward them… backwards, something the kids didn't believe.
"Liar," they both said.
"Look!"
He pointed his finger in the direction he was talking about.
Zoro, Nami, and Oliver looked and, indeed, a man with a hat and heart-shaped sunglasses was approaching while walking backward.
'What was his name?' thought Oliver, trying to remember.
"Who says I'm weird? I'm completely normal," said the strange man.
"Well, I think you are weird," Nami replied.
"Don't say nonsense, I'm just an ordinary hypnotist," answered the hypnotist.
"Hypnotist? Incredible!"
"Do a trick!"
"Yeah!"
The three kids encouraged him to perform a trick.
"What? No, why would I do that? You shouldn't reveal tricks the first time you meet someone," he said while taking his hat. "Very well! Watch closely… look at this ring!"
"Didn't you just say you weren't going to do it?" said Zoro, a sweat drop sliding down his temple.
"When I say One, Two, Jango, you will all fall asleep. Understood? One… Two… Jango…"
As soon as he said "Jango," both the hypnotist and the kids immediately fell asleep.
"Why the hell do you fall asleep too?!" Zoro shouted angrily.
'His name was Jango, I remember now. His ability could be annoying… Could it be a Devil Fruit power?' thought Oliver as he watched him lying asleep on the ground.
"How about we just leave him here?" said Oliver.
"Y-yeah," Nami agreed.
They picked up the kids and moved away from the area, leaving the hypnotist sleeping behind them.
