In truth, there was a ferocious beast hidden in the dark corners of Koneko's heart. That was the Nekomata, previously referred to as a cat demon. The beast within her had awakened, leading her to become a stray devil. Kuroka, the once-stray devil, was a perfect example; she is Koneko's twin sister.

"No, you can't!" The petite Koneko positioned herself directly between the two, leaning back against Xi Ye. Her golden pupils glowed dimly in the night, staring vigilantly at Akeno.
"I see~ Koneko-chan won't allow it!" Akeno remarked with a disappointed tone before gradually disappearing into the darkness. Outside, her face began to flush. Something must have gone wrong. He probably knew her identity already and was therefore cautious. Yes, that had to be it!
Though she turned her back, she didn't plan to leave completely. She was responsible for escorting Koneko back home to prevent her from staying out all night! Today, she had brought Koneko here to help her realize that the man before her was not a good person. Yet, nothing seemed to go according to her plan.
