Chapter 8 - Tenketsu

This begged the question of what training would actually help him in the short run.

He has failed on the sensory aspect though he has not given up, but then there's the control aspect which would be impossible if he doesn't try to attack least correct his chakra pathways, they weren't necessarily damaged, just clogged and misaligned and though the pain that comes with this was unbearable, it would undoubtedly be worth it, it was just however not in the short run possible.

Kuma would probably be back in about a week at worst and three to four days at best, so he needed to optimize himself a Little before then.

It didn't take much consideration for Shisui to focus on his character control instead of his sensory type, simply because he would likely fail again if he kept trying without any active targets and supervision, and who does he plan to carry out these roles except Kuma?

It may seem too trusting on his part but he was undoubted in this point.

But as for how to carry out his chakra control training he needed to do something first.

In the blink of an eye, it was morning again, Shisui could tell from the heat on his face but he didn't move or flinch from his point

Twenty minutes later he moved his finger a little and then his whole body like he had just woken up from a deep sleep.

However, he has not fallen asleep and rather has been checking something within his body.

He always knew his chakra pathways were not optimal at the moment, misaligned in particular and that was his tenketsu which was paralysing him a great deal, the old man might not know of this, but the fact that it took him two years to regain partial control of his upper body says a lot about his lack of knowledge in the chakra part.

Though his herbs had helped a lot.

What Shisui meant to ponder was that he spent the night counting how many of his tenketsu had issues, and he needed to do so while absolutely still, because he was no genius of the Byakugan clan or anything of that sort.

And he came out with a result

70 out of 361, that was the amount of tenketsu points causing his current stature.

The good news was that they were not directly damaged and can be restored overtime with some brutal methods, the bad news however was that it would take up to three months with those brutal methods and that was his shortest estimated time, with a calm method, it may take up to a year, but he took this as an opportunity to work on himself, maybe there might be other problems

With these conclusions, Shisui moved away from the window and just a few minutes later, the old man came to serve him food for the day.

"I didn't expect you to still be here, I apologize for not coming last night." He said.
