Chapter 1 - teenage girl ray

Light glowing in a room, that looks like a teenager girl's room, feeled with poster and arts, colorfull light decorations, a bookshelf where's a lot of books of novels and manhuwa. The girl laying on bed on her stomach, reading a novel book. Her short brown hair tied in a small ponytail. Chuckling at something she read. Looking like she's around 17 or so. Suddenly she jumped, hearing a voice outside of her room, she shut the book and hid it under her pillow.

"Ray!" The voice yelled, coming from downstairs, a female's tone. So... Her name was ray?

"What is it, ma?" Ray yelled back, waiting for a answer, her eyebrows narrowing with a hint of annoyance but she can't go against her mother. She sits up on bed

"It's been five minutes I'm telling you to come out of your room." Her mom's voice sounded gentle with a hint of annoyance. The voice become clearly when she stop outside Ray's room. She opened the door, leaning slightly against the doorframe with crossed arms, her eyebrows narrowing. A hint of amusement. "Dinner is ready, come out of your cave. You're reading other things instead of studying, ain't you?"

"Come on, ma.. I won't fail the exam!" She huffs, rolling her eyes dramatically.

"Mhm. Will see. Come on now, princess." She scoffed dramatically pretending to be annoyed but chuckle at her huff, finding her daughter cute. She push herself off the doorframe and Truned around, walking downstairs.

"Yes yes, coming." Ray couldn't help but chuckle, she loved to make her mother smile. She get off bed, looking over her shoulder for the last time to make sure her ma didn't saw the book under the pillow. After that, she followed her mother downstairs to dinner table.

She finds her father sitting there, waiting for them. As they being to eat, Ray's father speek, making a small conversation. "..so, how was your exam, ray?" His voice was gentle with affection but Frim.

Ray looked at her father from the lashes, she muttered with mouth full food. Casually showing a thumb up. "Great."

"Got everything correctly?"

"Yep. But don't expect totally 100 from me."

"Well genius, I know. But I'm expecting a 80+ from you." Her father chuckled, he sounded warmth. He then looked at his wife, smiling warmly. "And my dear?"

Your mom looks at you father from the food, smiling. "Oh, don't ask. The same usual chaos."
