Chapter 147 - Izumi Miyamura: Xover - Chapter 144

Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Scott Fellman.

I didn't even hesitate to move—I was the first to do so—but I didn't go toward the villains in the air. Instead, I headed toward Shigaraki.

"Finally, damn it! Set me fre-"

"I'm sorry! I'm not sorry! " I said immediately, Aizawa had already stopped looking in this direction, so since my quirk wasn't canceled, I let my shadows grow and swallow Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

Finally, everyone else reacted, a swarm of insects formed in the sky and began to assault the Bullhead, only to be met with massive blue flares and a miniature sun.

I gritted my teeth as the fire lit up the sky. I could immediately see all the other villains and recognized them. Most of the villains jumped out of the Bullhead and landed easily on the ground. I could see everyone preparing to intercept the villains and engage in combat.

At the same time, a wave of fire filled the forest, and I could feel it entering all of us. I glanced at Darkness, her shield raised. Everyone immediately threw themselves at the nearest villain.

Not me, instead I spun around, stomped my foot, and appeared next to Mandalay and Kota.

"Sorry!" I apologized once more and swallowed them both with my shadows. I could see Mandalay's shock and surprise. I suddenly turned once more and this time looked at Ragdoll, lunged at her, and pulled her into my shadows as well.

"Miyamura! What are you doing?! " Eraser asked as he appeared next to me, his quirk activated as he looked at the villains. I didn't answer, I just moved my shadows slightly over my body, it was something complicated, it wasn't something I had done before, but it wasn't the time for attempts, it was do it or don't do it.

From my chest, a shadow emerged and remained there for a few seconds until Mandalay's head emerged—just half of it, its eyes wide open, looking at everything around it. From my back, half of Ragdoll's head appeared. It was more complicated than it looked to keep my shadows open just so their heads could emerge.

Meanwhile, I could feel Shigaraki and Kurogiri thrashing around inside my shadows, trying to do something or get out. Apparently, either Kurogiri couldn't use his mists to escape from my shadows, or he simply didn't want to, but for the moment, they were trapped.

"What's going on!?" Mandalay asked immediately.

"Haki, visions, I'll explain later, AFO wants Ragdoll Search." I said immediately, which made the three pro heroes freeze. Aizawa paled considerably and stared at me with an intensity I'd never seen before.

"Don't let go of Ragdoll, even if it costs you your life," Aizawa growled immediately.

"W-what?! Wait! I am more than capable of taking care of myself! I'm a professional hero! I should be protecting you!" Ragdoll yelled at my back.

"You could, but not if they cheat. I was able to see the villains' quirks, Mandalay. I need you to convey to everyone what I told you quickly." I said without hesitation.

"Mandalay, listen to him," Aizawa said before clicking his tongue and running off to confront the villains.

"Start talking," Mandalay said simply.

" Fuck, fine, I'll help too! I can't see their quirks, but I can fill in their weaknesses! " Ragdoll growled from behind me.

"Watch out for the two villains with top hats, the woman with the red mask is called Trickster, her quirk allows her to swap the locations of two objects of similar mass within her field of vision." I said quickly.

"Yes, I see that. Their exchange speed depends on the distance and the difference in mass. Although not much compared to the first, if there's a noticeable difference in weight, it takes much longer." Ragdoll added immediately. I nodded.

"The man with the white mask is called Compress. Like his quirk it allows him to reduce anything within an area into small marbles and release them whenever he wants. Both quirks work on people, as long as they don't get kidnapped," I said immediately.

"There's not much to say, his quirk only works on targets he touches with his hand, don't let him touch them," Ragdoll said. I ignored her as I launched myself at a particular target.

I quickly found myself against Mustard, who had not yet started to release his gas, being surrounded by his allies, who were definitely not immune to his gas; it was impossible for him to release his quirk without allied casualties.

Take advantage of that slowness, draw Wado Ichimonji, and cut Mustard's mask with ease.

"What?!" Mustard squealed. I spun around in the air and kicked him in the face, sending him flying several meters with such force that I sent him flying into several trees, crashing into all of them before coming to a complete stop. Great, that was easy. I looked around to see all the fights that had started and focused on the most significant problem at the moment.

"Tell Midoriya to face Muscular." I told Mandalay.

"What?! Are you crazy!? Do you know who Muscular is? " Mandalay exclaimed in surprise.

" I know, but you heard whose son he is. He has his quirk. He's the only one who can beat him in strength. Aizawa is necessary to fight other villains." I told her immediately. Mandalay seemed to grit her teeth.

I could see a few moments of hesitation, but that was enough for Muscular to laugh loudly and backhand one of the students from Class B. I could hear a curse come from Mandalay before he relayed the order.

I could see Midoriya freeze in place, his head snapping towards Muscular and tensing before launching himself into the fray.

I quickly started giving more information about everyone else.

Darkness Pov.

I gripped my shield tightly after activating its special effect to buff everyone, just before the villains began to attack. I heard inside my mind as Mandalay began reciting information for everyone.

"Midoriya… I hate to ask you this, but I need you to face Muscular. She's the large, muscular woman with the cape. Her Quirk is a muscle enhancement, which gives her enormous and devastating strength. You're the only one here who can face her." Mandalay said mentally.

I frowned, and Izumi? He should be more than capable of cutting any muscle, no matter how dense and tough. I understood he'd cut the Nomu hundreds of times during the USJ incident.

I looked around and saw Izumi jump against the Bullhead while slashing at what appeared to be a sun. I was busy then. I looked across the battlefield and saw Midoriya crash into a villain who had grown dozens of centimeters and gained large amounts of muscle.

That should be Muscular. The enormous bulging muscles easily dealt with one of Midoriya's kicks, so I ran in his direction. I tightly gripped my shield in one hand and my sword in the other.

Midoriya clashed fists against Muscular once more, but this time he lost and was forced to retreat several steps. I finally arrived and launched myself. Stone Breathing: Second Form: Upper Smash.

I wasn't that good with the sword yet, but I gave her a strong downward blow that connected with Muscular's arm, which sank a few inches, but finally stopped before the enormous mass of muscle without having any real effect.

"Great, another bug to squash." Muscular laughed sadistically, swinging her fist in my direction. I let my Quirk guide me into the optimal position and raised my shield. I could feel the dull thud on my shield, but I only moved back a few inches.

"I'll stop her attacks, Midoriya! Focus on attacking her! " I exclaimed firmly.

"Understood!" Midoriya exclaimed as he prepared himself. Muscular frowned. I could see her muscles bulge even more before she attacked again. I took a deep breath and took the blow with ease. She hit hard, ridiculously hard, but I could defend myself against her, I could stop her attacks.

"Is that all you've got?" I asked simply, frowning. Muscular grunted before unleashing an avalanche of attacks. I let my Quirk weave through them. I raised my shield, spun it around, and took the left hook, her overhead strike from the right side, and her punch to the stomach.

One after another, after another, I defended myself against all of her attacks. Muscular was becoming more and more irritating as her attacks produced no results. Then Midoriya appeared above Muscular, did a half spin, and his kick connected with the villain's head.

The force of the kick was enough to stagger her, but not to knock her down. Muscular quickly recovered while Midoriya landed on the ground. Muscular looked terribly angry, and she tried to attack Midoriya, but I moved and intercepted the blow.

Midoriya still had his back turned, as if he was sure I would take the hit, I smiled slightly. Yeah, we could handle this. I raised my shield and took the hit once more.

Azula Pov.

"The woman with the burn scars can generate intense blue fire; she has no resistance to fire, she can't create large flames or fight for long without hurting herself." I heard Mandalay's voice in my head, my head spun quickly, and I found my target.

I ran in her direction. The villain saw me and smiled slightly before lazily waving her hand in my direction. A massive burst of blue fire erupted from her palm. I took a deep breath, jumped, and spun forward with my foot extended. My own blue fire spawned from the sole of my foot and grew enormously.

The two flames collided with each other before canceling each other out and disappearing. I saw slight surprise in the villain's eyes, but I moved nonetheless. I drew my Nichirin sword and rushed in her direction.

The villain tried to attack me with her fire again. I gripped my sword tightly, and a vast blue flame, the product of arduous training, emerged from it. Sun Breathing: Burning Bones, Summer Sun. With a defensive spiral motion, my flames swallowed and nullified the villain's fire.

I continued running in her direction. Sun Breathing: Dance. My sword swung down hard right at her shoulder. The villain dodged to the side and raised her hand in my direction, fire beginning to form from the palm of her hand.

One of my hands released my sword and rose quickly; the back of my hand hit her arm hard, pushing her hand above my head, causing the huge flame to emerge uselessly above me.

I swung my sword with one hand and lunged at the villain again. The villain raised her free arm to shield herself. My sword collided with the enemy's aura before the villain exploded into blue fire, while a large iceberg rose between us, separating us and protecting me.

"Azula." Shoko said as she arrived, and I nodded in her direction.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here, Endeavor's prodigal daughter." The villain finally mocked with a mocking smile. Todoroki just frowned.

"I suppose you have some problem with my mother," Shoko said, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. I grimaced at that tone. Yes, I'd heard it many times from people who hated my father.

"A problem? Yeah... you can call it that." The villain said playfully, only to jump back as a water dragon slammed into the spot where she'd been standing moments before. I looked at Sona. This was three against one, but the villain was still smiling almost placidly.

I smiled slightly, too. Let's see who has the most powerful fire.

Ruby Pov.

"The gray-haired woman doesn't have any quirks, but she's extremely skilled in combat, primarily using her legs, which are advanced prosthetics." I heard Mandalay's voice as my scythe collided with the gray-haired villainess's leg.

"Is that all you've got, Red?" the woman asked playfully. I swung my scythe quickly, only for the woman's kicks and movements to easily keep up with me, even surpassing me. Her kicks deflected and stopped my blows with ease, barely making my scythe wobble.

We were at a port point when two shots were heard behind me. The gray-haired woman jumped back when two shots exploded in front of me. I jumped back when I saw Tanya and Visha get behind me.

"Three vs. one? That doesn't seem very fair to me," the villain said with an almost mocking smile.

"You decided to attack us, play stupid games, win stupid prizes," Tanya said dryly, narrowing her eyes. The villainess laughed lightly as she put herself on guard once again.

Thunderclap and Flash. I used my quirk to accelerate and appear next to the villain. To my surprise, she was able to react; she raised and extended her leg to its full extension, and the sole of her foot collided with Crescent Rose, stopping her.

Tanya and Visha appeared next to the villain, the former with her sword-like weapon and the latter with a spear-like one, and they attacked the villain at the same time. The villain just laughed, and the villain's boot, which was still on the ground, fired a projectile that lifted the villain into the air.

The villainess pushed Crescent Rose and me back at the same time as she spun in the air, her legs intercepting both incoming guns at the same time. I oriented myself in the air and fired with Crescent Rose in her direction. The villainess just twisted in the air and dodged the shot as she backed away.

I appeared next to her once again, Sound Breathing: Fourth Form: Constant Resounding Slashes. I spun Crescent Rose around at enormous speed in all directions as I entered the villain's area.

The villainess began to move quickly, avoiding or deflecting Crescent Rose's countless blows in her wake. Tanya and Visha appeared once again on either side of the villa while I was busy defending against my attacks. They both had their weapons in the form of spears and launched a precise thrust to either side of the villain at the moment when she couldn't dodge. Water Breathing: Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust.

The villain managed to dodge Visha's attack, but Tanya's attack finally connected with her torso and pushed her back. The villain groaned slightly as she stepped back.

" Ow, that hurt." The villainess said almost as dryly and nonchalantly as she put herself on guard once more. I squeezed Crescent Rose and lunged again.

Aizawa Pov.

"Is this necessary? You just have to hand over Shigaraki and Kurogiri; the students are not our target." The villainess said with a smile and sweet words as my twin daggers clashed against her twin swords.

"There's nothing to talk about or negotiate, villain." I said simply as I continued attacking, alternating between using my daggers to attack her, kicks, and my restraints, but she was skilled, defending herself from everything with ease.

Vlad Queen intervened and attempted to hit her with a wave of blood, only for the woman to jump back.

" The woman who spoke at the beginning is called Cinder Fall. She is capable of producing intense heat from any part of her body, she can reshape and manipulate objects by overheating them, and she is also hot enough to disintegrate a person if she has time." I heard Mandalay's voice in my head.

"Sure? I'm sure you're worried about your beloved students. You don't want them to get hurt, do you?" Cinder asked with a fake, worried smile.

"My students aren't so weak to lose against your group, Cinder Fall. Go back to All for One and tell her you failed." I said dryly, if Cinder had any reaction at the mention of her name, she didn't show it visibly; she just smiled a little wider.

"Fail? But dear Eraser, everything is happening as planned." Cinder Fall said with a dangerous smile. I frowned further. My eyes strayed to the various villains around me as I activated my quirk before raising my daggers and receiving Cinder's blow. "Do you have time to distract yourself?" she asked mockingly.

I clicked my tongue and continued attacking her alongside Vlad Queen; even so, I quickly looked around. Everyone seemed to be fine; the most annoying and dangerous villains were being distracted.

First, that green-haired girl—a quirk that causes hallucinations—was terribly troublesome, especially in a fight as messy as this one. But if what Mandalay had conveyed was true, then she needed a lot of concentration to use it properly.

My daughter, Jiro, and Yaoyorozu were constantly attacking her to keep her busy; even so, my eyes found her several times to nullify her quirk in any situation if she was using it in any way, and we didn't know.

Next up were the two top-hatted villains. Were they partners? Lovers? They usually use matching costumes in that situation, but it didn't matter; both quirks were terribly annoying, especially when there were too many of us to keep track of.

Luckily, Miyamura was able to realize the same thing and launched himself at the Bullhead to try to stop the red-masked woman.

Meanwhile, the white-masked man faced off against Polendina, Tsunotori, and Yanagi, all three of whom had ranged attack capabilities. His compression quirk was a great weapon to hijack if they were fighting in close combat, a good choice.

Then there was that girl capable of generating a sun. Where did she get these villains? My eyes were also constantly fixed on her. She needed time and control to be able to create her sun; it was easy to cancel it every few seconds while it took to regenerate.

"Distracted again?" Cinder asked mockingly as she attacked me. I ducked slightly and attacked her with my daggers. "You make a woman feel completely neglected." She mocked once more. I clicked my tongue as I continued attacking, focusing on the villainess once more.

Was she supposed to be the new 'leader' of the League of Villains? Will she replace Shigaraki? If Shigaraki's words about her 'exile' could be trusted. Cinder Fall. Her face isn't Japanese in the slightest, and her name even less so, so she's a foreigner.

There were about 6 or 7 villains who covered their faces; it was not a normal practice. Most villains did not care if their face was visible; it was very rare to see them in Japan, but… in the United States, it was too common to see them.

All of their heroes and villains practically covered their faces, so it's possible that the group, or half of them, were American. But that left out Cinder Fall's origins. Maybe she's European, given her accent, but I didn't have any further information to go on.

What I could understand was that All For One was recruiting foreign villains, and if villains from other countries started arriving, Japan would quickly become a hub for international villains. It was annoying.

I had no idea what their plans were, so far, they only seemed to have in common wanting to hurt All Might in every way possible. The insane amount that AFO hated All Might was weird; there was a backstory that I was missing, but it didn't matter, which made it predictable in part.

All of this also meant that she was on the move once again, hunting for Quirks if what Miyamura saw with his Haki was true. Just thinking about that kind of monster with the Ragdoll Quirk made me pale considerably. The search was too dangerous for her to fall into her hands.

I had to finish off Cinder quickly and stop the other villains. Everything else could wait.
