Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Scott Fellman.
After quickly listing all the quirks I could think of, or at least the most important ones, Ragdoll began filling in the missing details while Mandalay relayed the information.
The few I didn't mention didn't really deserve to be mentioned. Spinner and Balistic didn't even need a warning.
Spinner was only somewhat skilled in combat; until she acquired the quirks granted by AFO later on, she posed no danger. Like Ballistic, she was now able to imbue any inorganic object she touched with kinetic energy, sending it flying at speeds similar to a bullet.
I mean, there are some tricks there since she can do it with any object, even other people's clothes or weapons, but she was restricting herself greatly for fear of hurting her allies, so there shouldn't be any problems. Dodging bullets was a pretty normal thing in this world.
And finally, the last one I didn't mention. Sundancer. She has the ability to create a miniature sun that burns at extremely high temperatures. I focused specifically on her; she was still inside the helicopter trying to reform her sun. Aizawa had canceled her quirk several times, so her sun immediately dissolved.
I jumped strongly in her direction. Sundancer was able to recreate her small sun just as she saw me coming. I moved her sun in my direction, absorbing Ragdoll and Mandalay once again into my shadows to completely protect them, and I covered myself in haki to protect myself from the blazing fire.
Sun Breathing: Thirteenth Form, didn't need the ground. I bounced in the air a few times with Geppo while spinning around the sun. It took me a few moments to cut the sun dozens of times.
Enough to make it unstable and the sun disappear in a wave of heat. I looked at Sundancer, who looked shocked in disbelief, and I launched myself at her. Wind Breathing: Second Form: Claws - Purifying Wind, I launched four slashes that hit Sundancer's body with force.
"Sundancer!!!" I heard someone scream nearby. I ignored it, I spun on my foot and kicked Sundancer in the stomach, knocking out all the air, her aura still resisting. Sundancer was thrown inside the Bullhead and hit one of the walls hard, denting it with her form.
I was about to attack her again when my observation haki activated, just in time when I was exchanged for a villain on the ground, I turned my body and contorted slightly to dodge the combined attacks of Kazuto, Suguha, and Alice.
"What? Izumi?" Kazuto asked clumsily, defending himself in a second.
"Don't get distracted!" I exclaimed before stamping my foot. I let Ragdoll and Mandalay emerge from my shadows once more.
"That's annoying." Mandalay growled, thoroughly tense. I ignored her and looked around to see how the fight was unfolding.
Midoriya was fighting Muscular with the help of Darkness, who was taking most of the hits.
Todoroki, Azula, and Sona were holding Dabi back from setting the entire forest on fire.
Himiko Toga faced Uraraka, Asui, and Ashido with a huge smile as if she were enjoying the fight.
Twice, it kept creating clones to fight Ravel, Kodai, and Shiozaki. Spinner was fighting hand-to-hand against Louise, Asuna, and Jinx. Compress was practically playing against Penny, Tsunotori, and Yanagi.
Magne was facing off against Tiger, Kendo, and Tokage. Moonfish was already being completely defeated by Rias, Akeno, and Komori, as was the Nomu Chainsaw thanks to Bakugou, Toph, and Yunyun.
Esmerald seemed to be at a standstill against Hitomi, Jiro, and Momo. Mercury was falling behind against Tanya, Visha, and Ruby.
Trickster, Sundancer, and Ballistic were now on the Bullhead. Ballistic was the one Kazuto, Suguha, and Alice were facing.
Then there were Taylor, Pixie-Bob, Sinon, and Hagakure, who were just running around the battlefield or attacking from a distance to help others.
Katarina was standing in front of Maria to protect her from anything. I grimaced as I forgot about Maria; she was essentially a non-combatant.
Finally, Aizawa and Vlad Queen faced Cinder head-on.
It was a pitched battle and a complete disaster, all the more so because the fights were happening so close together. I almost wanted to dress up because Obanai's Hashira training was proving quite effective at this point.
But I had more to do. I was about to attack the trio at the Bullhead once more when I froze. I curse under my breath.
"Mandalay, there are dungeon monsters coming our way!" I growled softly.
"What?! A Gate broke?!" Mandalay asked incredulously.
"No, I felt a quirk activating in the surroundings; it must have been something similar to Kurogiri." I said with a grimace. Mandalay grimaced, but I quickly heard her start mentally giving orders.
Both Taylor and Pixie-Bob headed into the woods. And they weren't the only ones; some of the fights were starting to break up.
Moonfish and Chainsaw fell instantly, so I freed six people, who headed into the forest. I let my Shikigamis emerge from my shadows and launched them into the forest to provide assistance.
"They're Grimms." I heard Taylor's bugs growl beside me, and I clicked my tongue.
"Mandalay, tell them that if they see green Grimms, to stay away once they kill them, they explode or spit poisons capable of melting the aura." I said immediately.
I jumped in the direction of the bullhead, saw Trickster looking at me, and in an instant, I pulled out several weights and placed them under my clothes. The increase in my weight prevented her from switching me with anyone else, so I reached the bullhead with ease.
Flower Breathing: Fifth Form: Peonies of Futility, I launched nine blows at the three villains in front of me. Sundancer, who hadn't recovered from my previous attack, had her aura broken immediately, as did Ballistic. It seemed that Kazuto and the others had also left her completely exhausted before the exchange.
I looked at Trickester, who was the last one. The blows had injured her, but she was still conscious, and I was teleported back to the ground by her quirk. I clicked my tongue; it was terribly annoying.
I kept trying to get to that damn Trickster, but she kept sending me crashing down as I swapped out what looked like Twice clones. I didn't even know how she got there. But somehow, the bullhead clones kept appearing.
Even so, I took advantage of the moment she hit the ground to attack one of the villains near me. At one point, I took advantage of being near Muscular to cut some of her muscles.
Midoriya took advantage of that moment and used a full-power One For All punch that finally rendered that monster unconscious. I smiled slightly and was about to launch myself at Trickster again. When I froze. My Observation Haki screamed again.
I turned to see what I had just seen. From Midoriya's mouth came a mouthful of black sludge that smelled horrible. My eyes widened at the sight of All For One's spatial deformation quirk as she tried to kidnap Midoriya without any care.
I lunged at Midoriya, who seemed to panic. I used my free hand and hit Midoriya's jaw hard, forcing him to close his mouth. Ooze accumulated inside his mouth, bulging his cheeks, but I didn't let it open; I quickly used Conqueror's Haki to force the ooze back.
"Ooze is a deformity quirk! Close your mouths and resist, don't let it spread and cover you!" I exclaimed, quickly hearing the information repeated by Mandalay in my mind.
I sighed in relief when I felt my Observation Haki activate again and prepared myself before feeling myself exchange once more. I appeared in mid-air, saw Trickster practically right next to me, and reacted immediately, turning without any problem, and… my sword pierced Trickster in half with extreme ease. My eyes widened slightly.
At that moment, Trickster turned into clay, a clone. To my surprise, both halves of Trickster were replaced by two Compresses. I was still in the air, in a bad position, and it was difficult to orient myself.
Even so, I spun around and attacked both of them quickly. I slashed at Compress's clone three times and punched the original several times, knocking his hand away from me. I prepared to punch the air and quickly back down and—eh?
I watched as ooze erupted from the original Compress and, surprisingly, from the clone's severed head, which was turning into mud. The black ooze spread rapidly, but instead of enveloping Compress, the ooze headed in my direction and began to envelop me.
I didn't have time to react. I tried to fight, kick, and move to get the ooze off me. I even used my Haki, but the ooze continued to spread. I gritted my teeth.
I didn't see it coming, my Haki didn't see it coming! This was AFO's teleportation quirk, so she has to be involved somehow! Did she nullify my vision of the future with Haki? Or is she able to see the future herself and react to my actions more easily?
Was she watching us right now? Damn, I had no answer, and I definitely didn't have time for this.
It was too late, the ooze was already covering my head… so I made my last move before everything went black.
-----------------------
Taylor Pov.
I held Shusui tightly as I decapitated the tenth Grimm in my path. My insects were fighting others, and I held them back to prevent them from heading towards where the others were fighting. I could see some others entering the forest and immediately brought one of the monster ants towards them.
I signaled them with the ants before they started running. To my delight, everyone who entered easily understood the directions and followed the ants through the forest to meet up with the groups of Grimms that had appeared.
I took a deep breath and decapitated the next Grimm. I was about to attack another one when Izumi's Nue swooped down from the sky, wrapped in lightning, and easily decapitated it. I simply nodded in the Nue's direction and continued running.
For a while, it was easy, clearing out the Grimms and keeping an eye out for the fight near the cabin where everyone was. I couldn't use such large swarms because they would obscure the others' view while they fought, so I just had to settle for small groups of insects that did nothing but irritate and annoy them.
But it was enough; the villains quickly began to be defeated. One by one, they began to lose their auras and fall unconscious, but everything seemed to be going well.
That was until Izumi tried to save Midoriya from some black ooze that came out of his mouth. The top hat-wearing villain, Trickster, switched places with Izumi and a tree to appear next to her in the air to hinder Izumi's movement. Izumi slashed the villain in half, only for Trickster to turn into sludge. A clone.
Each half of the severed clone was exchanged for the other top-hatted villain, who launched themselves at Izumi. Izumi spun in the air, slashed at the clone, and slammed it into the original Compress's hand. Izumi almost seemed freed when the strange slime erupted from them once more.
The ooze that was the villains' teleportation quirk. A ooze that began to envelop Izumi.
Then everything exploded into shadows. A huge shadow emerged from the ground, and all sorts of objects emerged from it before Izumi's rabbit began to multiply abnormally, covering the entire camp in rabbits.
Then the ooze… that made Izumi disappear.
No… no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!
My eyes opened, and my body moved on its own. I spun around mid-air and used Thunderclap and Flash. The entire camp was an ocean of bunnies, but I didn't care. I knew where the villains were; my bugs had them on their radar. So I charged at them, squeezing Shusui tightly.
Then the same blackened ooze erupted from the mouths of most of the villains, engulfing them before disappearing. Izumi's rabbits exploded into shadows and melted, and I fell to the ground in disbelief.
The shadows finally disappeared and left all of Izumi's things on the ground, from training weapons to spare clothes for all of us, and food.
"Izumi?!" Ruby yelled as she reached my side, her gaze desperate as she looked around. Most of the villains were gone, a few unconscious: Muscular, Mustard, Moonfish, and the Nomu.
"He was kidnapped." I said almost dissociatively, I couldn't even register those words… Izumi kidnapped? It almost seemed impossible.
"Damn!" Aizawa growled as he approached. "Not just Miyamura, he had Mandalay, Ragdoll, Kouta, Shigaraki, and Kurogiri inside his shadows. They took everyone." Aizawa said, frustrated, his eyes completely tense, I could see the worry on his face.
"No… you're wrong, Eraser." I straightened at the voice, looking at a pile of clothes where Mandalay stood. "He freed us all the moment he realized he was going to be kidnapped," Mandalay said tensely.
"By all, you mean ah..."
"Yeah, we're here too, idiot." Shigaraki's voice growled. Aizawa ran in the direction of the voice, yanking the clothes off her and grabbing Shigaraki by the neck as she lifted her up, still tied against the chair and all.
"Where did they take Miyamura?!" Aizawa growled immediately, and Shigaraki just snorted and looked at her boredly.
"And why the hell do you think I would know? I already told you, AFO wants me dead, too." Shigaraki said slowly, and Aizawa simply growled.
"Even so, you should have some idea, some of their bases, hideouts, something." Aizawa said quickly. "Kurogiri should be able to take us." Aizawa said, and Shigaraki rolled his eyes.
"Yeah… no, I don't think so." Shigaraki said with a mocking smile. "It's his fault all this is happening to me; if he hadn't opened his mouth, everything would be perfect." Shigaraki said childishly. I frowned, causing a fly to fly down her throat and hit her uvula. Shigaraki began to cough and gag.
"Fuck! Get your bugs off my throat!" Shigaraki growled. I didn't do anything; I just brought more bugs closer to Shigaraki as they quivered menacingly.
"Hebert!" Aizawa exclaimed, and I stopped stiffly. I could feel Ruby grab my arm. I clicked my tongue.
"This isn't getting us anywhere." Aizawa said as he dropped Shigaraki to the ground. He quickly found Kurogiri and picked her up as well. "I guess you won't be helping us either?" Aizawa said bitterly.
"I'm just following Tomura's orders." Kurogiri said easily. Aizawa just grunted.
"Campbell! Heal all the wounded if there are any! Tiger, call UA and the convoy that came with All Might, keep them informed of the situation." Aizawa said quickly.
"And Izumi?" Darkness asked worriedly as she took a step forward. Aizawa froze, gritting his teeth and making a fist.
"We can't do anything for Miyamura right now. We'll return to UA, where it'll be safer. Then we'll make a plan to get him back. I promise." Aizawa said with a determined look.
I bit my lip hard enough to bleed, and I could feel Ruby trembling as she grabbed one of my arms. Azula approached, her fists clenched.
None of our people were seriously injured, and Campbell was healing those who were. Izumi was the only one missing, while we had captured four villains. For some reason... it felt like a complete loss.
Author's Note: Is the fight too short? I really didn't want to focus too much on this part.
