Chapter 480: The Conclusion and Return to Zhongzhou

Half-Saint!

Those two simple words exploded like thunder in the ears of Ao Huangtian and his followers. In that moment, it seemed as though even the energy in their bodies had frozen. Their faces showed fear and disbelief as they stared at the purple-robed figure, who single-handedly held back the enormous Two-Headed Jiao Dragon.

To some, the term "Half-Saint" might be unfamiliar, but to the Dou Zun powerhouses, it was all too familiar. It represented a chasm of despair for them.

Most Dou Zun who reached the peak of their level found themselves stuck at the edge of the Half-Saint realm. No matter how much they trained, many were unable to truly cross that threshold. Only by becoming a Half-Saint could one aspire to become a true Dou Sheng (Saint).

In fact, Half-Saint was the most crucial stepping stone before reaching the Dou Sheng level. Without passing this stage, one could never dream of becoming a true Dou Sheng powerhouse.

As the Dou Di (Emperor) level became a mere legend from history, the title of "Saint" came to represent the pinnacle of this world's power. Dou Zun warriors were known as the strongest, but they were not at the very top. The true summit of power belonged to those who transcended the Dou Zun level.

The Half-Saint stage was a coveted goal for all Dou Zun, but they knew it was incredibly difficult to reach. For many, it was impossible.

They never expected that the mysterious man before them had already entered that realm.

A Half-Saint in the South Sea region could rule with unmatched power!

"Half-Saint…"

On Myriad Snake Island, all eyes were fixed on the figure in the sky. Compared to the massive Two-Headed Jiao Dragon, the man seemed small, but the overwhelming pressure he emitted was so powerful that even the terrifying energy within Ao Huangtian's enormous body trembled.

"Half-Saint… Mo Yu's elder is actually a Half-Saint!"

The Water Clan sisters were stunned as they stared at the figure. After a long pause, their eyes filled with overwhelming joy.

Half-Saint, though it had the word "half," was far beyond Dou Zun, making the person one of the most revered figures in the world. Such a powerhouse, even Ao Huangtian, the patriarch of the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan, would have to submit!

"Haha! It seems my Water Clan's fortunes are rising! Being connected to Mo Yu has truly brought us luck!"

Water Cang's old face lit up with joy. Who would have thought that behind Mo Yu stood a Half-Saint? Even one word from such a figure would ensure the safety and prosperity of the Water Clan for decades, even without a Dou Zun warrior among them.

Up on the mountain peak, Mo Yu also looked thrilled. Snake Uncle breaking through the Dou Zun peak and reaching the Half-Saint level had been an unexpected surprise.

Although Mo Yu had secured the Nine-Winged Golden Snake's legacy for Snake Uncle, the latter was still just a soul without a body. It had been uncertain whether he could succeed. But after three months, not only had Snake Uncle revived, he had ascended to the Half-Saint realm!

Suspended in the sky, Snake Uncle glanced calmly at the massive dragon before him. His slender fingers slowly clenched into a fist.

Crack!

As Snake Uncle closed his hand, the body of the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon, filled with terrifying energy, began to twist. It looked as if an enormous, invisible hand was squeezing it like a pretzel.

"Ahhh!"

Ao Huangtian let out a heart-wrenching scream as his body contorted further. His painful cries echoed like sound waves, causing the surrounding sea to rise in violent waves.

Gulp…

Everyone watching swallowed hard. The attack that could have destroyed the island was easily neutralized, and Snake Uncle's robe didn't even move.

"So, this is the power of a Half-Saint…"

The assembled warriors exchanged glances, each seeing the deep shock in the other's eyes. This kind of power far exceeded the Dou Zun level—it was the true power of a peak-level being.

Blood Shark Prince and the others exchanged fearful glances. Who would have thought that this young man, Mo Yu, had a Half-Saint backing him? Even a Seven-Star Dou Zun like Ao Huangtian was nothing in front of such a powerhouse. They were nothing more than ants.

Had they known this, they would never have dared to confront Mo Yu.

"Hmph!"

After tormenting Ao Huangtian for a moment, Snake Uncle snorted coldly and casually flung the enormous body of the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon into the distant ocean.

Thud!

As Ao Huangtian was thrown, his body shuddered, and he let out a groan. Blood gushed from his mouth as his aura became erratic. Snake Uncle's casual blow had inflicted serious damage on him.

Ao Huangtian transformed back into human form, wiping the blood from his mouth. His gaze fixed on the purple-robed figure in the distance, filled with fear and unwillingness.

As the number one powerhouse in the South Sea, a Seven-Star Dou Zun, Ao Huangtian had never expected to be so utterly defeated in just one move.

"Half-Saint…"

Grinding his teeth, Ao Huangtian's hatred for Mo Yu deepened. But he wasn't an ordinary person. After a moment, he forced down his emotions, his face turning pale.

Upon realizing that Mo Yu had a Half-Saint protecting him, he knew that today's attempt to kill Mo Yu had completely failed. Worse, his own life was in danger!

Half-Saint was a realm far beyond Dou Zun. Even if the entire Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan fought together, they couldn't defeat Snake Uncle. The gap between them was unbridgeable.

"Everyone, retreat!"

Taking a deep breath, Ao Huangtian made the decision, giving orders to the rest of the clan. After shooting one last cold glance at Mo Yu, he leapt toward the sea.

The other members of the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan didn't hesitate, quickly following him as they fled. The overwhelming pressure of a Half-Saint left them no choice but to run like frightened mice.

"You think you can leave just like that?"

From the sky, Snake Uncle smiled faintly, raising his hand and squeezing it toward the sea.

Boom!

The ocean erupted, sending a massive waterspout into the sky. A terrifying force shot deep into the sea, followed by the faint sound of muffled groans.

Splash!

Blood spurted from the water, followed by the floating bodies of many Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan warriors. The sea turned red, creating a scene of carnage.

"Damn it! My clan's warriors!"

Ao Huangtian's furious roar echoed across the sea, filled with anguish. Snake Uncle's casual move had devastated his clan, leaving them with losses that would take centuries to recover from.

For Snake Uncle, the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan was no longer a threat.

Meanwhile, seeing the Jiao Dragon Clan flee in panic, Blood Shark Prince and the others felt a chill. If even the strongest clan in the South Sea had been decimated, what hope did they have?

They quickly stepped forward, suppressing their hatred for Mo Yu, and bowed respectfully to Snake Uncle.

"We were blind and offended Young Master Mo Yu. Please forgive us, great one!"

They hoped for mercy from the Half-Saint, even if their apologies were insincere.

"Forgiveness?" Snake Uncle smirked. "You didn't seem so humble when you were bullying Mo Yu…"

Sensing danger, Blood Shark Prince and the others exchanged glances and fled at full speed.

"Hmph, too late."

Snake Uncle's hand reached out, and space itself rippled. The fleeing figures were yanked back as if caught by an invisible hand. Moments later, their bodies were crushed into a bloody mess.

Boom!

Three bursts of blood filled the sky as the three Dou Zun powerhouses were annihilated.

Seeing this, everyone watching swallowed hard in shock.

The terror of a Half-Saint was undeniable.

As Snake Uncle clenched his hand, a terrifying whirlwind swept across the ocean. The immense force penetrated deep into the sea, followed by muffled sounds rising from the depths.

Splash!

Suddenly, dozens of blood-red jets shot up from the ocean, speeding like lightning toward Snake Uncle. However, just as they reached within a hundred meters of him, they evaporated into a cloud of blood mist.

The sea turned into a bloody battlefield, with bodies of the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan warriors floating on the surface, creating a gruesome scene like a field of carnage.

"Damn it! My clan's warriors!" Ao Huangtian's furious roar echoed over the sea, filled with anguish. It was clear that Snake Uncle's earlier attack had dealt a devastating blow to the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan, causing losses that would take hundreds of years to recover from.

Snake Uncle, however, remained indifferent, a slight smile playing on his lips. Having reached the Half-Saint level, he had now stepped into the ranks of the continent's peak powerhouses. The Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan was no longer a threat to him.

Meanwhile, as Blood Shark Prince and the others witnessed the clan's humiliating retreat, their hearts sank. If the top power of the South Sea, the Two-Headed Jiao Dragon Clan, was so severely wounded, their situation was even more dire.

Realizing the gravity of their predicament, the Blood Shark Prince and his allies quickly approached Snake Uncle. Even though they still held deep grudges against Mo Yu, they bowed respectfully to Snake Uncle.

"We were blind and offended Young Master Mo Yu. We beg for your forgiveness, mighty one!"

They all knew that Snake Uncle had intervened on Mo Yu's behalf. Whether or not their apologies were sincere, they were desperate to earn the Half-Saint's mercy.

"Forgiveness?" Snake Uncle raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a smirk. "You didn't seem so humble when you were bullying Mo Yu earlier…"

Sensing danger in Snake Uncle's tone, Blood Shark Prince and his companions exchanged nervous glances. Without hesitation, they turned and fled at top speed.

"Hmph, too late to run now."

Snake Uncle sneered, raising his hand. The air rippled with a terrifying wave of spatial energy. Blood Shark Prince and his allies, despite their rapid flight, were pulled back like puppets on strings, caught by an invisible force.

As Snake Uncle clenched his fist, the three of them turned pale, their bodies crushed by the intense pressure. Their forms began to twist grotesquely under the force, causing an unsettling scene.

Boom!

After half a minute of this crushing pressure, the three finally succumbed. Accompanied by their pitiful cries, their bodies exploded into a gruesome mess of blood and flesh.

Boom!

Three bright bursts of blood bloomed in the sky, signifying the deaths of three Dou Zun powerhouses.

Seeing this, everyone present swallowed hard, staring wide-eyed at the scene unfolding in the sky. These were all renowned Dou Zun powerhouses of the South Sea, yet in front of the Half-Saint, they were as insignificant as ants, crushed effortlessly.

A Half-Saint's power was truly terrifying!

The crowd's eyes turned toward Mo Yu with even more fear and respect. They now realized the immense power standing behind him. No wonder he had dared to kill the Blood Shark Prince's son, Kuang Lang, and even the Prince of the Jiao Dragon Clan. He wasn't just a young man from Zhongzhou; he had been hiding his strength all along.

Having dealt with the situation, Snake Uncle lowered his hand, taking a moment to glance at the distant warriors. Without paying them any more attention, he turned and descended to stand beside Mo Yu.

"Congratulations on your successful revival and ascension to the Half-Saint level, Snake Uncle," Mo Yu said, smiling as he greeted him. It was his first time seeing Snake Uncle in physical form, and he admired the intricate and mysterious purple-gold robes Snake Uncle now wore.

"Haha, no need for such formality between us," Snake Uncle replied with a laugh. "If it weren't for your help, I would have been long dead in that little valley in the Mulan Empire."

As he spoke, Snake Uncle's gaze softened with gratitude as he looked at Mo Yu.

Mo Yu smiled back before asking, "Snake Uncle, did you fully evolve into the Nine-Winged Golden Snake?"

"Well, the evolution process is far more difficult than I thought. If all goes well, it'll take another six months. But with this interruption, the timeline might double. If I had fully evolved, that old Jiao Dragon wouldn't have escaped so easily," Snake Uncle explained.

Mo Yu, feeling a bit guilty, said, "I'm sorry, Snake Uncle. I didn't mean to hold you back."

Snake Uncle waved off the apology with a smile. "It's just a matter of time. If you had fallen to that old Jiao Dragon, I'd regret it for the rest of my life. I'll probably stay in the South Sea for a while longer since the Nine Nether Yellow Springs here will help my evolution."

He then added, "As you head to Zhongzhou, be cautious. If things go wrong, retreat to the South Sea. Even if I haven't fully evolved, I can still protect you."

Mo Yu smiled and said, "Thank you, Snake Uncle. If I face an enemy I can't handle, I'll be sure to seek you out."

Snake Uncle nodded, then pulled a purple-gold scale from his robes and handed it to Mo Yu. "This is my essence scale. If you're in danger in Zhongzhou, crush it, and I'll sense it. I'll cross the void to help you."

Mo Yu accepted the scale and gently stroked its surface. Though it lacked the ancient feel of the Sea Demon Sovereign's scale, it radiated an immense energy, indicating it had been shed by Snake Uncle only recently.

Feeling the sincerity in Snake Uncle's gesture, Mo Yu was deeply touched.

Afterward, Snake Uncle patted Mo Yu on the shoulder. Without saying much more, he vanished, flying off toward the depths of Myriad Snake Island.

As Mo Yu watched Snake Uncle disappear into the distance, he took a moment to collect his thoughts before gazing northward and whispering to himself, "Snake Uncle has been revived. Now, Zhongzhou… I'm coming back."
