Eliza walked into the bath. It was large. The entrance was guarded by both by two guards, with the sisters being nearby on top of having Zora and Boudicca. Two of the best fighters that the Island had to offer bar those that was already near them.
She let the robe around her waist fall away. Her body left nude as she walked up the stairs carved into and from the ground. Feet stopping at the large lip of the room size bath.
The Perimeter was about a foot wide and went almost all around the room. Pillars at the side. Candles held by tall holders and left on the the stone.
The water was filled with salts and suds. Steam lifting up as it was constantly heated to a comfortable and perfect 98 Degrees.
She stepped a testing foot into the water. Yep. Perfect as always. But she could feel the water begin to sap her strength from her body. It was just deep enough, calculated perfectly by past Lady's to not interact with Devil Fruits in any way more than was necessary
The water came up to her calf. She gave a breath. Someone of her strength, the stamina drain was not as bad as another user.
Water, the Sea, any standing water that was still and not flowing was considered an extension of the sea and the curse of a Devil Fruit. It effected all the same. Instead the only distinction was the amount of stamina a person had that changed if that 'Hole in the bucket' that was stamina, meant anything or not.
However regardless of stamina. If they were submerged. It would get harder and harder to move. Sinking like an anchor…
Eliza waded through te water till she was in the middle, leaning forward and splashing water across her scarless body.
Ever since that day…So long ago…She swore that her body would never be defiled again. Nary a blade, a needle, or injury leave its mark on her…
"Fuck me…" Leroy swore to himself as he swung through the air. He was taking his time. Scouting out the entire city. The looming castle and mountain that were combined into one were a constant in the background as he made his way around.
He needed to find some sort of way off the island. But the entire city was walled in. There was no tapper off into smaller and smaller sections of the city. It was all consolidated into one.
He released and fell onto the another roof. Pattering softly to a stop. The streets were illuminated, but the rooves were left in shadows as he looked around. Eyes squinting as they grazed over the streets
"Hah…Crap…Nothin. And guaranteed theres patrols all through out the forest right now." He turned and pulled himself up with an elastic reach to Zip up to the tallest peak he could find.
He squatted on the spire that could fit him just enough. Wind flapping his sash as he stared through the cloudless night.
He didn't see any sort of docks or ships in the surrounding waters…
And the waters themselves were incredibly still…There was the gentle breeze from the Island, and the air from the mountain. But the ocean was still. Too still…
"We must be in the calm belt…" He muttered to himself "Damnit!" He swore a tad loudly to himself alone. That threw an even bigger wrench in things. Meant he could just make a raft or take a boat. He'd need a steam engine or a paddle boat
He scratched his head harshly as he stood up and looked around one more time. Gaze eventually falling onto the castle.
He squinted and looked around the large structure built into the mountain. There were lights all around the widows. Illuminated by flickers of flames, and others by steady beams of illumination.
'Must have electricity.' Leroy thought to himself. Eyes continuing to shift across the windows before stopping on a particular one. A small slit of a window.
Leroy squatted back down. Hands between him and leaning forward with a squint "Oh…!"
He said before raising his brows and standing back up. It was Eliza. He'd just seen eliza just barely through the fogged windows of the Castle bath.
"Well I think I wasn't supposed to see that. Heh. Feel a bit bad though…Eh whatever." He shrugged
"I best just head over the mountain and see what the other side of the island has to offer…" He slung an arm out and leapt from the Spire! Swinging through the air!
His arms stretched as he let go! Ready to land and run across the roof of the castle when-
Crash!
The landing was too hard for the roof! He had expected the roof to be much more stable in its stone construction! But the moment his weight went against it he collapsed the stone like a cannon!
Splash! Water shot into the air as he felt his energy get sapped as he sat up! "Agh! Kaff Kaff! What the fuck…That fuckin roof cant hold any weight how am I supposed to get out of here…now…" He slowed his speech as he looked over to his side.
Eliza.
In the Nude.
Right there.
Right in front of him
The seconds seemed to draw on for moments and moments before.
Rage.
Fury.
Utter madness crossed Elizas eyes! And then those same eyes seemed to shift to a yellow hue and her pupils slit! "You! You Insolent….Bastard!"
She whipped around, water trailing down her body, and Leroy raised his hands quickly! "Hey Hey Hey Hey! Wait wait! I wasn't trying to peak! I was tryi-"
"Doesn't matter! You saw it! You saw it!" She shouted again and again! The sound around them seemed muffled almost from the thick stone. Voice reverberating!
Currently the Guards had all heard it. And were waiting to burst in! They couldn't make out the words of Leroy…But at any moment, as standard procedure, wait for their Lady's word.
Eliza was hearing none of Leroys pleas, as the mere second Later, even despite all that she'd just heard that this man may actually be perhaps some form of realized mythical figure made manifest by chance! She lunged forward with an arm that was long and lanky, leathery with sharp talons
"I'm sorry about the scar!" The talon stopped inches away from Leroys face. 'He didn't even try and raise his guard…' Eliza thought to herself
"My friend…They were a slave too…" His eyes looked down to the water, and then locked onto her eyes. Not even stopping to linger…another thing she noticed.
"The mark of the-"
"Dragon." She finished.
As all across her back. That nearly took up the entire space between her shoulder blades. Was a mark that was almost a foot long. The mark of a slave…
