Eliza strode down the hallway with concentration in each of her foot steps. She'd been the "Matri" "Empress" "Queen" "Leader" "Lady" the proper term of what the leader of Cyprus was known as was any of these. Most popular was simply 'Lady'
Her body strained against her clothes as she stood up straight and, as best as possible, tall. Passing by everyone around her. An odd thing height. She was technically even on the smaller end of Fishman and Mink Height. Whom both of which could reach a Minimum height of around 2 or 3 feet.
The guards around usually varied in height. The Panthers, who were the permanent Warriors of the Island, tended to be on the taller side. Anywhere between 6 to 7 feet tall. Given that they all tended to have either been laborers, warriors, or any other physical position that had unfortunately thrusted a trauma upon them
The Two Guards that were at the end of the Hallway in front of the large doors moved to the side and Eliza slowly opened the door.
It'd been about a day since last. But Leroy, who turned around to face the person who entered. Surprise lighting across his face as he saw that it was Eliza. "Heh. Finally come around to see how your prisoner's faring?"
Eliza put her hands on her hips "Quite. Everything I've heard about…Falcon D. Leroy, has painted a picture of you that I find…Quite intriguing."
"Intriguing?" He says as he stands and wanders over to the bars. Feet pattering against the ground ground. Shoes having been torn from the fight on desmare nearly a week ago
"Yes." She said clearly holding back any more details than she needed. But to Leroy it was hidden quite well on her dark skin. But Leroy was always good at reading people. When it came to a concept of showing and not telling how a person felt, The Captain read those shows like a book.
And just like a book. It was always a bit difficult to eye across the words on a page.
"Well. If you indeed to do something to me. I might as well know what it is before it happens right?" He asked as he pressed against the bars. Eliza felt that he was clearly wanting to know. But inside her own mind she couldn't quite come to just outright denying anything.
"Well. I guess you might as well know." She huffed.
"Leroy. On this Island we have a Myth." He squinted his eyes, brow furrowing in curiosity as he adjusted on his feet.
"Its known as the Myth of Adonis. I don't know the full story really." She shifted from side to side. Arms coming to hug her self as she averted her gaze
"Seems like everyones heard a different story. I guess if I'm to be honest with you…Because most people think its just that. Things like a thousand years old or something. My Grand Advisor, Nabi, she's obsessed with it. But I've never gotten the full story from her either."
"Why? Wouldn't someone obsessed have trouble shutting up about it?" Leroy grinned. And Eliza gave a cold glare back
"Maybe. But Nabi is Loyal. Only ever advising and trying her best to keep me on the narrow. She keeps anything else to herself." Eliza still averted, and gave a sniff "Its just like her really to not say anything out of line unless I ask."
"Anyway…This story. Its about a man. A long time ago. Was born or like appeared on the island. And with it, this huge burst. Some say it was laughter, others a heat, other warmth, kindness. Something that was different than what the Women who were hear that long ago knew."
"The only thing thats important. Is that this man. Adonis. Was positive. He was a positivity in the negativity of the minds of the women. And to the queen."
"This is known as The Ase Event. Or the Arrival."
"Its then said. That this man would assert himself on the island in some form. Defiance or something. Showing who and what he was. Proving himself to be this man of legend. And once that was done."
"Through a coupling of the Lady of the Island, and this man. That all the women on the island would know freedom. Liberation. An escape of some kind to finally be able to go back into the world that had hurt them so bad…"
"Coupling?" Leroy asked. Titling his head to the side.
"Sex. Sex is what I mean. Its said that Adonis and The Lady will Fornicate and from there, it will somehow cause for the lady to realize something fundamental. And together the two of them will help liberate the island…"
"Oh…Heheh?" Leroy smiles wide. Clearly intrigued at the proposition and the humor of it.
"No laughing matter." She said looking at him with a cold stare "If this has even an ounce of truth…Then it is my duty to ensure that this goes through…"
"If you do this with me, Red Sash. Then I will ensure that you are protected. And I will even allow you safe travel to find your friends."
'What?' Was all that Leroy could think. Sure, Eliza was hot. But…Seriously? This was his way off the island? Was she kidding him? He had to willingly give himself over to this Lady that he doesn't even know. Become so intimate with her, and even sleep with her. And that would mean that he would be allowed off of the island?!
He…He couldn't…
"Well. For one. That Myth seems like it was made by a man to get in the pants of a woman. And seems to have some random guy as Savior without reason. And honestly. Thats not me."
"And Second. As Attractive as you are. I don't know you. And I'm currently a prisoner. So no. The Answer is no. I will not Accomplish this Story of yours…You may be desperate for your girls. But I'm not so desperate as to prove it false."
He said with conviction
"You…" She had a boil of anger in her. This was for her people! But…She couldn't lie that it relieved her. though…At the Same time
"Well. Tomorrow you will truly prove it. And if you do. There might not be a better option for you…Think it over" She said as she whipped around. Crimson locks flowing as she strode out of the chamber.
