Chapter 507 - A Certain Low

Mismatched Black and White Shoes stepped against the bundled roots of Swale Number 9. Rough yet slim and soft hand rubbed the back of their own neck. Black and White mixed hair almost perfectly split down the middle and mixed on both sides with the other color like salt and peppered hair that was in a wild disarray that was attempted to be tamed. Short at the sides that were fluffed out. A low tied hair of both shades at the bottom of the nape of his neck

The man yawned. Scruff hair that was in almost a five o'clock shadow of both lazy unattending too, but also a vain attempt to manage its length. His eyes were deeply bagged and almost 'scratchy' looking. As if he were drawn many strokes of a thin pen by some omniscient draftsmen.

He reached into the pocket of his tailed waistcoat that was just like his hair color but on opposite sides. Two breast pockets then mismatched as well. A white pocket on the black side of the white hair side. And Vice Versa

He pulled a Pack of North Winds. The same Brand that the Red Sashes Chefs smokes. Indicating that he was a Native to the North Blue. But smoke a different flavor, menthol. The classic North Wind flavor.

From the opposite pocket he pulled a box of matches that rattled with the tell tale sound of running low. And fingering on betwixt his Middle and Thumb. Lighting it with one hand he inhaled the cool breeze like acrid smoke and released a puff of smoke.

A quick stamp to the ground by one of the mismatched black and white loafers

A Shiner

William Ned Low

Bounty: 451,297,100

'The Director of Death'

The Rest of Lows outfit consisted of a satin Dark Blue shirt that was below his twin forked tailed waistcoat. The sleeves rolled up. His hands rested on the Deep Blue umbrella handle.

"So what'll it be, hot stuff?" A voice spoke from behind him. A woman in heeled boots that covered her calves as she wore a white button up shirt, light gray vest, and held red eyes. Her figure was an hourglass that matched the Captains' more lean and lithe figure. She had a repeater rifle on a sling off the back of her shoulder. Her silver hair done up into a ponytail. Cateye eyeliner was thick at the ends of her eyes that gave her an almost feline look

Captiver Luxury

Bounty: 141,060,000

'Mon Cheri'

Low gave a low huff from his throat. She always flirted. Constantly. She was utterly infatuated with every man she saw as attractive. And Low was typically at the center of it. But he never, ever reciprocated. He wasn't interested in romance, flirting, sexual advances, none of it. He could care less. But he allowed the flirting from Lux because she was just as much of a Fangirl as he was…

"There's Pirates on this Island…I want to see them." He said plainly as he held a bounty poster of none other than Falcon D. Leroy. Low, for lack of a better term and in spite of his cold and reserved outward and honestly inner demeanor, was an utter fanboy.

"Captain…I thought we were here to go to the New World…" A voice from behind spoke out. It came from a shin and lithe Gazelle mink that was almost pitch black. But was actually just an incredibly dark brown from head to toe. He had a streak of white that was rounded across his abdomen, and a white spot that covered his mouth and nose. As a mink they looked like a Humanoid version of the animal they were, on the more human side. Lacking digitigrade limbs, or over pronounced muzzles or snout. But it was still there

Hansen

Bounty: 55,000,000

'The Ebon Horn'

"And we shouldn't keep Ember and some of the others waiting…" He said as they rushed up next to the Captain of the Charade Pirates

The Charade Pirates had been formed in the North Blue some years prior. They were, at least in their early days, like a circus or traveling stage play in terms of 'Theme'. But, even with the addition of Luxury, Tetsuya, and Ember, there had been many a tragedy that had followed in their wake

They'd caused Quite the Stir in The North. From utterly Annihilating a Marine Base to Traveling to Providence Island, The main port island of the North which served as the blues resident Louge Town

Their Ship, First Stage, had Entered the harsh waves of Reverse Mountain and sped past the lighthouse at the cape. Unlike The Red Sashes, the Charade Pirates' Log pose had locked onto Route 5. An Incredibly tumultuous path.

In Short Summary their Journey was as Follows

Crimson Isle: Crimson Isle or The Isle of Blood was An Island said to have been covered entirely by blood at some point in the past and from the sheer amount of iron that had soaked into the soil, turned everything into a burnt red and orange color. There Low and crew had fought against a Pirate Crew of Slavers that had holed up on the Island. And during which had come face to face with the Mythical 'Elemental'. An extraordinary rare 'Species' that take on the form of their surroundings in vague monstrous humanoid form. This one was a 20 foot tall Crystalline Giant made of the 'Blood Crystals' the Island held. Freeing the slaves after the defeat of the Former, Low garnered the trust of the slaves who joined him

Windly: This Island Has Practically no Regular Inhabitants. The wind produced from the High Mountains and its low valleys mixed with the temperate temperatures of the Surroundings waters and wind cause the Wind of this Island to Reach incredible speeds! Like that of a Hurricane! There they recuperated after Crimson, and found a small fox mink witch named Ember.

Solace: The Island of Eternal Night. For Some unknown Reason, this Entire Island is stuck in a Perpetual State of Night. Near no Forms of Natural light pierce through the thick haze of darkness that Encompasses the Island. Here Low was in search of Pirates related to a particular man. And upon finding them he tortured them for information

Tahiti Kingdom:Unlike its similar Kingdom in just a Route over, Arabasta, Tahiti Kingdom is a rather calm Reprieve from the harsh Environment of the Route that it is Set on. Their Economy Is based heavily off of tourism and Fishing, along with Spice trade and trade in general! For their Bazaars and Trade Markets within the main kingdom for all the good that one may need on their Travels! An Uneventful at first but upon going to the Bars with Lux, he ends up drugged! It was the Pirates that had been in control of the slave ships he'd been after. He dealt with them even on the verge of sleep.

Tortuga: Considered to be one of the most important Island to Pirates and Merchants alike in paradise. For this is the main Island that those who wish to sell and fence off their illegally gotten goods for the proper funds. Infested with pirates, and those looking to get whatever cash they can find. It's quite the pirate wonderland. Throughout the entire Island there are plenty of forms of debauchery, from prostitution to drug distribution. Having took Direct Inspiration from the Island of Nassau in the New World, this Island is a direct move of business to paradise. And as a result, they aren't as successful and prosperous as Nassau. But then again...Nassau has been around for a very long time...Here more of the Slavers Ships were found and dealt with. But Low had just made the problem worse as the Island had been nearly entirely destroyed in terms of its City by a Pirate that had previously visited

There were 6 other Islands they'd visited. But it all paled in comparison to only a month ago on the Island of Tarnish. It was a simple and easygoing island in the past but had been bought out by the Marshal De Leon Tizona. This was the Pirate that Low was after. He had gone after his slave ships and via the log books of the other he came face to face and drew the man out…

However, He was in over his head. And as a Result? Both the first stage, and over 90% of his crew had been murdered and cut down by the Laughing Lion…Low had gone after a Marshal with glory and revenge for the Man's connection to his past. And had failed utterly and totally…

Back to the Present however. The Crew Walked around. Tetsuya was eating one of the Onion Rings. They were a Snake Neck, a Sect of the Longates or more commonly 'Long Limb Tribe'. A Human race that had mutated over time to have long limbs in some fashion. Rather that be by sheer height, length, or gaining extra joints. They had long wavy blonde hair and sharp brown eyes with long snaking thin hands. They were a quiet and reserved lot from an island that had treated them like an 'Other'.

"If Low wants to continue. Then let him, Hansen." He said in a deep low voice that was confident but characteristically reserved tone
