"What Dragon Fearing and Worshiping Citizen of the World wouldn't want to Live on the Island Of Judice? A place to worship the holiness of the Sacred Ones, where the economy booms and is fair for all those hard working, and a place where humans, real humans, are in the position they are rightfully owed?" The man was large and rotund with a grey head of hair and scruff of black. He wore an apron and a green shirt, a Dragon Sigil around his neck like the man before
"Cap?" Eddie spoke from behind as Leroy continued to stare at the man. His fist tightening. "You sure you wanna do this now…" Eddie whispered for only the crew to hear.
Suddenly, from the perspective of the Man, Leroy disappeared. Leaving only 7 people in front of him before– Black.
Leroy had appeared above him as he slammed a fist into the back of his head causing his face to slam into the counter and leave a small bit of blood as Leroy hoisted the man into a chair and faced him away from the door so people didnt see the blood
Eddie spoke up properly then "Good idea. But I have a feeling this guy won't be the last from here on out."
"I don't think any of us can argue about that decision…" Jeanne let out a worried breath as Leroy covered the man in a blanket.
"Scuse me…" A voice from behind caused them to turn around. It was the fishman. "I don't mean to be a bother but…I don't want any trouble…" He didn't even look the crew in the eyes.
Leroy nudged Kirk for him to show the truth. With a nod he approached the taller fishman and stroked his hair behind his ear to expose his Fins and pulled at his collar to show his gills. Kirk had gotten lighter in skin tone, as some fish do when they become healthy, but it worked in an advantage for him. He was closer to a tan orange than a darker true orange that he was before. And his white spots under his eyes made it look like makeup to anyone else
"You- How'd you get out?" The Fishman, Grant, spoke his own larger lips that were caused by him being a Mahi-Mahi. A point of obvious contention to any who saw him as something not human.
"I didn't get out" Kirk corrected "I'm a pirate. With the Red Sash Pirates." The mans eyes widened and furrowed. "You mean– Those guys that are in the Paper? Some of the people and books say that you, Kirk Right? Supposedly 12ft tall and are a brute…"
"Guess the posters don't really show of height…" Kirk thought out loud. "I don't know." Grant said "I can't read. My mama was born here. Was a hand at the Local Sanctuary…But I was always told I was too rough to serve there…" His fins on the side of his head noticeably lessened in a sad expression
"Do you…Know you're way around?" Leroy asked as he Approached. But grant was scared to even look at him. And Leroy knew for a fact it was because he looked exactly like the 'Ideal' human in this island's eyes.
"Yes sir I do…" The way Grant spoke to him. It broke his heart honestly "You don't have to call me sir, Sir." He gave Grant a smile, to which Grant couldnt help but sheepishly give his own back
"Could you tell me where the Town Square is? If there is one? Like where everything happens?" Grant clenched onto his broom as he answered. Anxiety growing the longer he talked "Yes si- Yeah. Theres a map if the Islands there. On the Wall." He said with a point
"But if I may say, I suggest you all move along before anyone gets suspicious." He said quickly looking over his shoulder and sweeping away
"Islands?" Raven asked as she and the others walked up to the Map. The map was quite big, and had the name of the island over top 'The Island of Judice. Sacred Port to The Holy Land'
Below was a few Islands. The first was the Main one that connected to the Red Line. The town square was clear. Then to the side of the Island a distance away was a smaller island that was labeled 'Solace' where buildings for residence was. At least those who were wealthy enough for it. But a similar island was closer to that too. A full lush green island that a maybe a dozen kilometers, it was labeled 'Second Zion' This was where Dragons came to visit the surface and stay in luxurious properties as a 'Exotic' vacation. Many of them passed through the Island Of Judice Purposefully to soak and bask in the Worship
Another island to the left of the Mainland was large and Artificial Docking. It looked filled with storage containers. But these were mostly for just the Dragons, As Many of them were for Individual Dragons. Dozens of Containers for one God.
A few things that stood out on the Map were the following. There was a Marine Base in the middle of the Island, and exactly opposite it from the Square was a CPA building. Then there was a larger building that seemed to take up an entire City Block that was labeled 'Sanctum'
Leroy Smashed the Glass and took the map. They left 25,000 Berry for Grant and Left…
The Crew looked around the town square with squinted eyes. There were Marines in Police Uniforms and Standard Uniforms all around. Keen eyes that were used to seeing them could spot CPA agents in plain sight looking around. Which caused all of the Crew to adjust their disguises to hide. Leroy tugging at his sash around his face, or The Swordsman tugging the Balaclava on his head
The Sanctuary was immense. It may be the Tallest Building around. The angled spires made of Bright white stone and marble that was finely carved in curving patterns with stained glass windows with the World Government sigil and The Dragons on many of them. It was tinted blue in many areas, and others a darker almost grey. The entire thing was a literal shining beacon on the island. It did in fact take up almost an entire city block.
It seemed like hundred of people huddled into the huge 50 ft front doors
