Kirk, Raven, and Leroy broke through the Clearing and into the Courtyard of The Hard Rock's massive Castle.
The Fortress had a large Skull built into the front of the Volcano. It was a part of the very geographical structure. It was massive. Standing hundreds of feet white and even taller. And yet it didn't even take up half the length o f the mountain
The eyes glowed from torch light within, the jaw was open that opened almost into a cavern with a large set of doors at the other end. Inside the mouth were crates and weapons, treasure, and other miscellaneous items.
There were cracks throughout the structure just like a real skull. However it was fully artificial. Deri Warriors and Corsairs alike having built it over many years
The Courtyard itself had a large statue to Barbary in the middle. His large bulbous physique was carved into marble. An axe slung onto his shoulder as he donned his armor, Dead monsters of reptilians beneath his boot.
The Statue itself had to be half the size of Barbary's actual height, but given the pedestal it was on, with carved skulls flowing into a fountain. It added up to his full height
The Rest of The Courtyard was Lush with Green grass. A juxtaposition to the rest of the island. And given the fact that only the upper class of the Barbary Pirates were allowed to live in the Fortress
"We're not too late are we, Kale?" Leroy asked as he cracked his neck from side to side, adjusting the sash on his hips. In recent days since Water 9 he'd been having to wrap his sash a bit more. Tying it around his waist a few more times on top of the neatly wrapped first layer. A substantial amount of fabric still loose and flapping behind him.
"Nah. You're right on time." Kale slid down the pile and onto his feet and walked over to his captain. Standing next to him as he kept his New blade Jaeger unsheathed
"Woah! Did you get a new sword?!" Leroy's eyes lit up as he crouched down and looked at it with a glint in his eyes. "Yeah. It's named Jaeger. I found that Swordsman that Killed the Hag and The Monster, Name Beowulf."
"He gave me it after I defeated him." Leorys eyes followed the blade as he pulled the sword up and looked at it in detail
"And its black too! Thats just like the Marshals…" Leroy said with a stroke of his chin
"Yeah. But in my hands it's not even a 100th as strong as his Sword 'Orion'" A sound of rustling came through the brush as Noir, Jeanne and Dezzi came. Koru literally shaking in his boots as he looked around
"And then you cut that big ass meteor right?" Leroy spoke before both turned to the group "Yeah…Oh look, its the Chef." He smirked
"Great the urchins here too." The two immediately started bickering, being up in each others faces as Leroy cocked his head to the side "Whos the new guy"
Dezzi gave Koru a shock to his back causing him to jump slightly. "Agh! I- I- I'm Koru…I'm with the Barbary Pirates but I'll be helping you as I can…I'm the one that made the Zombies look all crazy."
"So you made the Zombies?" Leroy asked "No. That was Alice. I corrupted them with my Coru Coru Fruit."
"Huh. Cool. Well lucky you're helping or I'd have to kick the shit out of you!" He smirked and pat him on the back hard.
Next it was Eddie and Calliope that came out of the Brush on the far side of the Courtyard
The group reunited again at last. It felt like forever since they'd last seen each other but it'd only been a few hours at most.
"Lord Barbary…" Miura walked up to him as he had been pacing around the room.
"It's time isn't it?" He asked, head turning to her. "Yes. All of the Pirate are now in the Courtyard. They've all just arrived."
"And the conditions of their wounds?" His face remained stoic
"They look rather beaten up. My eyes tell me that they've at about half their strength or less depending on the Members. The strong ones have been weakened. But the others seem to be on their Last legs." She lied. Partially. But Barbary was not privy to sensing a person's emotions innately
"Good." He began to wal towards the end of the hall, where the Balcony was "Lord, do you require any Assistance?"
"No. And Besides. If your report is to be believed, The Deri Warriors and The Corsairs have been left defeated. A price to be paid for the results that have been garnered this day."
With a lie in her throat. Miura spoke "Good luck, lord Barbary"
As the two were walking away from one another. Miura gestured for Nekomia to follow after her. Who gladly did. Jumping from the rafters gracefully and silently. Making not a noise as she leapt onto Miuras shoulders and turned invisible
The Red Sashes were in the middle of staring at the Castle and looking from one another, recalling the details and catching them up entirely on the events that had transpired. Including Eddie who had been reunited with his family, and even the Story of Alice.
When–
CRASH! Smoke and Debris erupted from the Castle as Barbary launched out the Ceiling without a second thought! His large frame blotted out light in the sky just behind him, casting the crew in a shadow for a moment
With a mighty collision into his own statue, Marble, Bones from the In Chained, water, and Earth flew through the air followed by a wave of wind!
All of the crew needed to brace themselves in some regard.
He was Massive. Even as he was bent forward in his landing. He was taller still then all of them. Eddie included who only came to his clavicle.
Slowly, he began to rise. His muscles audibly moved as the air around him was disturbed. His large hands were released into and open grip.
But the sound of them cracking as clenched them into fists washed over them
The Fight. Was On.
