Upon close observation, Pei Yansi noticed that Lu Yi seemed like a different person entirely, with his manner of speaking, expressions, and tone all so alien, so far removed from the cultured and gentle Pei Yansi of the past.
"What right do you have to hurt Shen Heyu, huh? Don't tell me you think that meaningless marriage certificate gives you the legal right to harm her?" Pei Yansi glared at Lu Yi, eyes blazing as though they would reduce him to ashes.
"Just as you said, we are legally married, and no matter what disputes we have, they're family matters. You, an outsider, have no right to interfere. I'd advise you to keep out of it, and stay where it's cool—don't get in the way here."
