"You don't need to think about that. I'm already on it." Alex said.
Damien turned to face him. A smirk formed on his lips.
"And why should I trust you, Alex?"
Alex stood up and adjusted his shirt. He walked closer to Damien and stared at him through the window.
"You don't need to, Red Bull. But I've gotten everything secured. I sold their next project to their rivals, Health Community."
Damien turned.
"That's all? That's the only thing you had in mind."
"God, I can't believe you're with my daughter," he said as he pinched his nose.
"Listen, kid, if we want them to regret what they've done to them. Then we have to go all in or nothing"
"I learnt Albert has an illegitimate son".
Alex's face dropped.
How come he never knew this?
"We secure Edison's properties and make his son work for us. Then we give some shares to him and Zoey, and the rest to Avery and Aurora."
They spoke for some time and departed.
- A week later
Erica, Stefan, Suzzy and Samuel arrived back in England. And the first place the girls went was Alex's house.
So the guys decided to go with them. They met both Damien and Aurora, and the girls spent most of their time in Avery's room.
- Alex's study
"Your father-in-law wants to team up with you?" Samuel asked.
Alex nodded his head as he sipped his drink.
"We're still nemeses."
"Nobody said you weren't." Stefan rolled his eyes at him
Alex pointed an empty bottle at him. Before he could say anything, a knock was heard.
Damien popped his head to the open door.
"Hi, boys."
Both Stefan and Samuel greeted him as he sat down.
He crossed his legs and poured himself a drink.
Stefan sat beside him, while Samuel sat across from him.
Someone cleared his throat.
Damien turned to look at Stefan.
" How's the mission in Toronto? I heard Erica shot one of her men for disobeying her."
"It... It's going well, sir."
"I wonder why she's dealing with that mission when you can, Stefan."
"I believe in her, Red Bull. She got this."
Damien stared at him as he swirled his drink.
" Make sure you don't lose her again, boy. Because that would be the last."
"Yes, sir," Stefan answered with his head bowed.
