As Alex glides over the ship where Tereza and the other player, the one wielding a whip, are engaged, he spots multiple corpses scattered across the deck—some dressed in unique, completely out-of-place clothing.
He glances at the yellow crate again.
It's indeed a friggin' Pikachu... but that doesn't matter! Where the fuck is Jewel... and why are there so many corpses? Some are Pirates, but some of them... they look so different.
Finally, he sees the Pikachu gather more and more lightning before unleashing a concentrated stream toward one corner of the ship.
Alex follows its aim—and his eyes lock onto a thick layer of black web coating one side of the vessel, covering nearly a third of it.
That web... it's Jewel's new skill, Namtaru Web. She can use MP to boost the durability of her normal webs and make them poisonous.
As the lightning tears into the net, Alex watches in alarm. The web just barely holds, but it still conducts the charge, offering next to no protection to whoever's hiding behind it.
Motherfucker! Jewel!
Fury burning through him, as he worried about his pet, Alex dives onto the ship, rapidly descending, using Warp, hurling a projectile with all his might at the Pikachu.
The creature suddenly vanishes—blitzing around in erratic circles, its speed so absurd that Alex's projectile barely clips it, only grazing the Pokémon.

Agility...
Now with Pikachu's attention locked onto him, Alex swallows hard as the yellow devil charges up another attack—this one aimed straight at him.
Fuck... I can't dodge!
He hurriedly activates his strongest defensive move, his Barrier.

Icewing Embrace Durability -5
A thunderous stream crashes into him, his Barrier and Sealion's Icewing Embrace absorbing the impact—but at a cost. The force of it sends him hurtling off trajectory, flying over the ship.
Shit, I can't crash into the damn water or this Pikachu will roast my ass.
Alex plunges into the water but spots a few webs hanging from the side of the ship.
Desperate, he latches onto one and hauls himself up—just in time for Pikachu to leap onto the railing, bombarding him with another electric blast.
"Pikaachuuu."

"Fucking rat!" Alex yells, scrambling upward as fast as he can. The Pikachu, now visibly exhausted, doesn't relent. It pushes through its own limits, launching another wave of electricity at him.

Still clinging to the web, Alex retaliates—casting Fira at the Pokémon and dousing it in crimson-blue flames.

"Pikaaaaaaa." The Pikachu, now desperate and flailing, throws itself onto the deck to extinguish the flames, thrashes around wildly—using its tail to slice at the webs Alex is clinging to.
Alex sinks a few meters, about to fall into the water again.
I need to do something! How about this?!
Using Pull, Alex hurls a glowing orb of biotic energy at the Pokémon.
Once again, Pikachu bolts to the side, narrowly evading the incoming biotic projectile.
However, Alex has aimed slightly to the right, anticipating its defensive reaction—allowing his biotic ability to almost strike the small creature.
Instead of a direct hit, the ability crashes onto the deck beside Pikachu, the impact throwing it sideways. It stumbles, skidding across the deck before finally slipping off the edge and falling into the water.
Goodbye, rat!
Alex scrambles up the web, careful not to rip it loose and send himself plummeting back into the sea.
But as he climbs, he catches sight of the female player—Tereza's opponent—now standing on the railing. With perfect timing, she lashes her whip forward, snatching Pikachu mid-air before it can plunge into the ocean.
"Pika!"
She yanks the Pokémon upward, where it immediately begins charging another lightning strike—this time, its entire body glowing with raw electric power.
Fuck... is that Thunder? I can't take that one. Barrier cooldown... What can I do?! I could smash the ship and try to get in from the side—or dive beneath it—but I need to save Jewel! I have to risk it. I need to get the hell up.
Ignoring the looming attack, Alex grits his teeth and climbs faster.
He finally pulls himself up—just in time to see Pikachu fire its Thunderbolt ability straight at him.
With no other option, Alex activates [Drakul's Vitality R2], sacrificing a Blood Essence to recover and power up.

Damn, I can't move!
However, much to Alex's delight, the paralysis fades almost instantly. Within just two seconds, he feels sensation return.
He spares a quick glance at Tereza, now flying over the other ship where Benezia is locked in combat with the Quirk user.
She must have her reasons... is she in danger? Whatever. I'll take this damn bitch and her pet down myself.
The female player releases her pet from her whip, a round-bloody cut appearing on its body and readies her whip again, preparing to strike.
"Pika..." Pikachu yammers in pain, blood dripping onto the deck.
Meanwhile, her owner strikes, aiming directly at Alex's face.
Alex, however, recovers in time and rolls to the side, avoiding her whip. He conjures Mustrano's Malice Mauler, his left hand morphing into the vicious black claw-hand, and surges forward—activating Fira Claw and enhancing his speed through [Nimbus Cloak].
Nimbus Cloak effect activated – Increasing Evasion by 5%, and Movement Speed by 40%
"Careful!" the whip-wielding player screams at her pet. "He's not stunned or paralyzed! He has some kind of protection! Help me, you damn pest! If I get hit again, I will whip you even more, get up already!"
Pikachu, who is bleeding and lying on the ground, gets up, trying to help her owner, but it's too late. Alex's flaming claw slams into the player. She desperately raises her arms, guarded with leathery bracers, and tightens her grip on the whip in a last-ditch effort to block him.
Alex's claw violently cuts apart her whip and arms, burning them and leaving behind a horrible injury, a large chunk of flesh scraped off her arms.

"Aaaaaah. Ouaaaaaa. My arms! Help me, you damn rat! I will kill you!" the player shrieks in pain.
"Pi—Pi—Pika!" Pikachu cries out as it unleashes another volley of electricity at Alex.
Desperate, Alex drives his claw into the player's abdomen, bypassing her ruined arms and piercing straight through her stomach—activating Toxic Breakthrough.

With his enemy impaled on his arm, Alex hoists her upward using his immense STR, turning her into a makeshift shield just as Pikachu's attack strikes.
The electric blast crashes into them both, shocking even its own master—and Alex takes another painful hit.

Alex and the female player crash onto the deck in a heap.
His head spins. His HP, MP, and AURA are nearly drained. Even his BP is low, while his Stamina is almost completely gone, his head spinning wildly.

Alex, despite his condition, smirks at the Pikachu. "Heh, what will you do, you rat? I have your owner with me—she's close to dying. The poison and bleeding are slowly killing her. Immediately surrender, or your owner, and you, along with her, will die!"

"Pikaa Pikaa!" the Pikachu responds playfully, its voice sounding almost crazed.
Despite still being entangled with its owner, the Pikachu locks eyes with Alex and begins charging another ability—completely ignoring the fact that its attack would also hit her.
"What the?!" Alex shouts. "You'll kill her! You'll die as well—she's your owner!"
"PIKA!" Pikachu loudly yells.
Fuck... this bitch must've mistreated her Pokémon. Its loyalty is low! I remember her cursing at it... even more than I did!
NO! I miscalculated... so will I... actually...
Die?!
NO!!
Alex's mind races as fast as ever before, desperately trying to come up with a solution.
But just as Pikachu is about to unleash another Thunder ability, the wooden floor beneath it gives way—splintering open to reveal a small, purple creature emerging from the shadows.
The creature immediately drives its legs into Pikachu, making it screech in pain.
"Pikaaaaaaaa"
Jewel!
Jewel has dealt 31 damage to Pikachu (Pet)

Jewel has dealt 19 damage to Pikachu (Pet)
With relief, Alex spots her—battered, barely standing. Several of her legs are broken, her body covered in blood and gashes.
Despite her state, Jewel doesn't stop. She keeps stabbing the Pikachu, her movements relentless, until finally, she sinks her fangs in—activating Namtaru Bite.

Thank you...! That was close...
Now, I can even take her hostage! Looks like we made it through this situation... barely.

Alex sighs heavily as her body goes limp, the immense bleeding and poison killing her. However, as he is about to curse again, another [Bloody Chest] materializes at his feet.
