Zero suddenly lost himself in the question. He started thinking, trying to find the actually find the answer, for what he is of Alpha?
Alpha didn't stop crying and asked again, "... Why are you doing so much for me...who am I even supposed to be yours...who are you...?"
Zero started sweating, he couldn't find the answer. He kept everything aside and looked outside the window at the forest and the evening was going to end.
"Are you coming with me for shopping?" Zero asked straight and Alpha was left stunned, her tears stopped and stayed at her eyes, and she shouted, "Do you even care abouty emotions or me?!!! You just want to go for shopping and can't answer my questions and nor can you pat me to calm me down and just asking for shopping?!!!"
Zero smiled with a sweat, first she's asking why he cares and now she's saying why he's not? He doesn't knows about things, he never had a girl and was just all focused on his work. But he just smiled and started patting on Alpha's head and said, "Then tell me, what do you want to say, what you want to express, I am here to listen."
Alpha looked at masked Zero with a little bit of anger and some tears.
"We will go for shopping tomorrow--"
"Ok, fine!!!!! Let's go!!!!" Alpha shouted and threw a pillow on his face with anger, she was angry because all Zero meant by was just about shopping.
But Zero didn't understand what made her angry that she threw the pillow, but he just smiled, relieved that they are finally going for shopping.
The night arrived and Zero came to his organisation with the mask covering his face and entered.
Eta, Epsilon and Beta were waiting and sitting on their seats and they finally saw Zero,smiled and asked, "How was your day, Sacreficer?"
Eta, Epsilon and Beta would have completely forgotten about Alpha because the magic would have ended already. So they would have also forgotten what they did.
I smiled and said, "Nothing special, actually. Just sleep, saw my home mate lying dead, then made soup, then she told she tried to kill herself and then made dinner and that's all."
Eta, Epsilon and Beta started sweating.
"...She tried to kill herself? And you are telling...so smoothly without any worry, like nothing happened?"
Zero didn't understand it, "...yes? Although I was hoping, she wouldn't, but she did. But I am happy that she was alive, she is alive."
Epsilon asked with the same tension, "Did you confront her or not, to not try it again?"
But Zero started sweating, "...What does that mean?"
And Eta, Beta and Epsilon hit their heads with the table.
"You really don't know that?"
Zero walked to the System and gave his attendance. He looked back at them and with confusion said, "No...I actually don't know, but I didn't say anything over it. She's free to do anything, I will face the consequences will be just fine...but I will also, always keep her free. I think that's what it matters, she's a free bird anyways."
Eta was suddenly behind Zero and she seriously said, "Listen, Sacreficer. I don't know who your home mate is, you just told that there's someone. But listen, setting her free is good, but you will to fight with her if she does anything wrong, especially to herself. You should be aware of that and care about that."
But Zero had a different view.
"I don't own her, so again I will say the same. My work is just to keep her safe, but if she chooses to destroy herself not anyone else, I have no choice. She is my responsibility, but I don't have any right to rule over her and try to fight and explain what's right and wrong... she's free...not like me."
Eta, Epsilon and Beta were disappointed with this, they all started walking away and said, "This is a great disappointment from you, Sacreficer. If you have that type of approach, then send her to us... Don't try the things which you basically can't do or know."
Zero wasn't hurt, he wasn't arrogant, he just replied, "I don't care if you are disappointed from me or not, I am not here to impress anyways."
And Eta, Beta and Epsilon smiled and silently said, "This is the word which makes you something else, something unique."
"And thinking about sending her, I will...I can't understand girls, I am sure."
Beta turned and shouted, "First learn to remember that you met a girl then you will understand woman!"
"Uhm, uhm...looks like you all talking about girls, something serious huh?"
Suddenly someone arrived and Eta, Beta and Epsilon raised their hands but Zero bowed his head down.
It was the Head of the organisation, Rehi.
"Yo! Rehi!" Eta called and the head smiled. Rehi looked at Zero, and started sweating, "You don't need to be so formal, raise your head and looked straight at me."
Zero raised his face and looked at Rehi. Eta, Epsilon and Beta came and stood next to Zero and with curiosity asked, "You don't come here, looking your face is rare. Are you planning...for a baby?"
Rehi became down, a little bit depressed and asked, "Why do you always say that? It's not funny anymore, it's happening since you all even joined. Move on from it."
And Eta, Beta and Epsilon laughed.
But Zero was looking bored, looking outside of everything and just thinking about something, "Shopping cancelled today, Alpha will go tomorrow, right?"
Rehi smiled with a sweat, looking at Zero and asked, "You look bored, Sacreficer?"
Zero finally noticed him, looked at him and nodded his head and said, "I am bored actually."
And Eta, Beta and Epsilon started laughing loudly... hitting their heads with each other's shoulders and said.
"Sacreficer...never hesitates... he's such a pure heart guy."
And Rehi was depressed again, sitting at a corner and asked, "...What is making you bored, Sacreficer?"
"What's entertaining and not boring here, happening right now, sir?"
And Eta, Beta and Epsilon started laughing more loudly.
"... That's a point..."
