A stormy darkness mirrored the turmoil brewing within me as I fell down a cliff , lightning strikes illuminated the surrounding as I gazed on a beautiful woman holding a dagger with a face twisted in pain and confusion .
I opened my mouth to speak-but, but no words emerged . as I plummeted down the cliff toward my impending doom I gave the woman one last look as I saw her looking back at me , her expression was a masterpiece of cruel fascination, her full lips curled into a subtle ,wicked smile. and a male figure standing behind her but I couldn't see his face as I struggled to see the face I felt an impact and with that something within me snapped and everything faded.....
Aric's world flickered back to life ,pain coursing through his body. He groggily opened his eyes, squinting at the blurred surrounding. Where....am i?. trying to move he felt a sharp pain on his back turning his head to look at it he saw his abdomen bandaged with a red stain which seems to be blood just below his ribs, suddenly he was attacked by a flood of memories, memories of the stormy night when he was stabbed, betrayed by the one he trusted the most, His lover Elyra . remembering the event the event that transpired on the stormy night....
BOOM!!!!!! "get them!!" a man shouted, *panting* a man and a woman could be seen dashing through a forest while being chased by people that seems to be wearing masks which are numbered. the woman was a blond beauty with well proportioned body with the right amount of muscles at the right places she dashed across the forest at an incredible speed leaping from tree to tree as she evades flaming arrows and fireballs.
The man running alongside her was a red haired which appears to be average in height, he had pale skin and crimson eyes that is as enchanting as a red ruby.
He seemed to be coated in red like sparks with his eyes glowing a pale red showing that he is using his powers. it was surprising how the man could move as fast as the woman who seems to have more of an athletic build than the man.
an arrow was shot towards the head of the woman, the arrow seemed to be coated in a green coloured aura.
Sensing the aura she immediately positioned to evade it , by bending her head towards her left *Swish* the sound of the arrow can be heard as it passed her head .
Just as the arrow was evaded it exploded, and another explosion rang out again BOOM!!!!!
"ELYRA !!!!!!" the man screamed .
Almost immediately elyra the woman jumped out of the smoke caused by the explosion .
"A...am okay Aric" Elyra replied.
But she appeared to be to have burn marks on her pale skin. He grit his teeth as he continued running soon they met a dead end.
...,.....it was a cliff.
"What...what do we do " ?. Elyra asked
"What else? We fight them obviously".Aric said he balled his hands into a fist as he got into a battle stance .
"Today I'll show you nobody's why they call me the Red Carnage"!!!!!.
Looking at Elyra Aric smiled saying "i trust you'll have my back right".
Smiling back she replied showing him d ring on her hand "Till death do us part".
He thought to himself "we could have taken our oaths if we weren't suddenly attacked, tch i'll end them all i'll kill them!!!!!".
In the middle of his thought a throwing that seems to be dripping with something. He quickly dodged it by side stepping. The knife landed on the ground and produced a sizzling sound.
"Poison eyy, smart move" grinning he looked at where it was thrown from thank goodness I dodged it that would have been troublesome".
Tchak!!!.
Feeling a sharp pain in his abdomen, Aric looked down towards the pain and could see a dagger stabbed into him, he looked at the direction from where the throwing knife came from, he saw the guys with the numbered masks all standing there looking at him. None of them moved from their position so how did he get stabbed ?
Suddenly the wound on his abdomen stopped hurting and only the pain in his heart assaulted his entire being,
As he turned around with a pained look hoping what he was thinking was wrong, But alas his trail of thought's was right the one person he trusted the most, one of the only persons he was willing to die for betrayed him.
The pain in his heart increased as all the colour on his face was drained. With tears in his eyes and his voice shuddering he asked,
"E...el..elyra why...why!!!!?
*CRACKLE*
Suddenly the world was illuminated by the lightning strike, and a dazzling beautiful woman was revealed with a sadistic grin
"do I need a reason to kill you? besides all those things we shared was a lie for this exact moment, foolish man. Hahahaha".
The masked men finally started moving as they closed the gap between them and Aric.
With every step they took Aric moved back untill he was at the edge of the cliff looking straight up he saw elyra running towards him with open arms.
For a second his love for her blinded him and he forgot everything that she just said.
But reality was cruel immediately she got into his arms she whispered into his ears,
"Fool.." as she stabbed him again and pushed him down the cliff with a wicked smile on her face .
Back in a room Aric still sitting on the bed broke down in tears.
