Jimmy: "Didn't notice? That's bad."
Jimmy stretched his legs, having dozed off with his feet up, his legs were still a bit numb. After a moment of stretching, Jimmy suddenly thought of Hughes' absence, Peter would do.
Jimmy: "Oh right, Peter, can you do me a favor?"
Peter nodded: "Sure, what is it?"
Jimmy: "Help me find out which department I'm going to be assigned to? Why hasn't it been decided yet?"
Peter frowned: "You've been suspended for two weeks and they still haven't decided? I see. You head back first, I'll ask around for you."
Jimmy patted Peter's arm: "Thanks, I'll head off then."
Jimmy left the conference room, and Peter stood there with his hands on his hips, looking a bit displeased.
It's been two weeks, and most people in the field department of the bureau know why Jimmy was suspended. Avenging one of our own, accepting the bureau's arrangements quietly without making a fuss. Now that he's back at work and still without a position, that's no small issue.
