This fruit was totally different from the pills the Otsutsuki clan made. Their pills had a bright red skin and you could feel the strong chakra inside. But the chakra fruit looked like a normal fruit, kind of like a peach, just with a color closer to tree bark.
The fruit gave off a fresh smell, like it was tempting you to eat it right away.
Kurama looked up in the distance. The tailed beast form of Ten-Tails had been smashed by the 'Kamui Kirin' attack. Even if it tried to reform, it would take some time. Those white bits—whether they were body parts or chakra leftovers—were slowly coming together to form Kaguya's shape.
A huge chakra presence, a cold look on her face—it was really Kaguya.
Kurama didn't hesitate. He threw the fruit in his hand into his mouth. Sweet juice flowed out. Even though he was a chakra being, right then he could taste 'sweetness'.
Kaguya watched this happen, anger flashing in her eyes. She turned her gaze down to Kakashi, who was recovering below. Her anger grew even clearer.

He could change those, but he wouldn't go too far. He stayed as a huge tailed beast, keeping all the tailed beast traits. He was a beast, not a person.
The reason he paused was the Otsutsuki... seemed to have two templates.

Sasuke frowned in confusion too. His Rinnegan eyes turned. "This is weird. I can see the chakra, but I can't sense the energy. It's like it's hidden."
Kurama grinned. "This is called returning to your true self, you two idiots. Didn't you see... Kaguya's face?"
Huh?
Everyone turned to look at Kaguya without thinking.
