The platform arrived at the top. Catherine glanced around, her mouth twitching slightly.
"You shouldn't... have dropped the helicopter."
Area 51 was arguably the most heavily guarded and enigmatic place in America.
The underground space was one part of it—but so was the surface.
At this moment, Catherine saw a large number of soldiers pointing guns at them. Besides standard rifles, there were also heavy machine guns mounted on off-road vehicles, and even the barrel of a tank aimed in their direction.
Robbin spoke up: "You and Morris haven't been exposed yet, correct? Unless Berick wants these soldiers to see what's happening down below."
Robbin raised both hands and shouted: "I'm Lieutenant Colonel Morris of the Army! The underground base has been infiltrated! My credentials are in the right-hand pocket!"
Sure enough, the soldiers exchanged glances and seemed uncertain.
