"Hmmm, what a strange ending. I thought there would be an intense battle in which we would tap into our latent potential, push our limits, and raise our ki to the highest level.
But it was just a conversation, and that was it!" Goku, the battle-addicted resident, flew over to Kami-Sama and began complaining to him while looking at the strange white egg the god was holding.
"Goku, situations don't always require a big fight to be resolved. There are many solutions to problems. The day will come when a big issue will be resolved in an instant with the push of a button," Bulma replied to her younger brother, causing him to grimace and wave his tail.
"Besides, a farewell like this was most appropriate for a being like Piccolo," said Kami-Sama with a sigh. He looked closely at the egg left behind by his evil counterpart, which he had just picked up.
"So, Kami-Sama was born from an egg?" Lazuli asked. He approached with Letty, who tried to put her hand on the egg. Before doing so, she looked intently at Kami-Sama as if waiting for his permission.
"Yes, my species is asexual, and we reproduce this way. However, we must not abuse this ability because it consumes our vitality," replied Kami-Sama as he brought the egg closer to allow Letty to touch it comfortably.
The young Bio-Warrior placed her hand on the white shell of the egg in front of her as if she wanted to understand something. However, she only blinked several times before tilting her head, unable to sense anything.
Goku also touched the egg. Unlike Letty, he used his ki perception and managed to sense the incipient life developing inside it. This made the Saiyan smile.
"First, you have to calm down. You must try to sense its ki. Just by touching it, you won't realize that it's alive." Seeing Letty's confused expression, Goku offered this advice and guided the Bio-Warrior in developing her budding sense of Ki. This allowed her to feel the breath of life contained within the egg.
"Everyone is so bright." With this new way of perceiving the world, Letty realized the difference between herself and others. Everyone seemed as bright as the sun!
"Don't worry about it. It doesn't mean much," said Bulma, touching Letty's head. She didn't want Letty to feel self-conscious because her Ki was clearly different from that of a normal person.
Bulma cared deeply about the mental state of her loved ones! Although she had only met little Letty that day, she had grown fond of her, and her previous words came from the bottom of her heart.
"You're warm," Letty told Bulma, making her smile as she narrowed her eyes in surprise at the Bio-Warrior's talent. After all, only experts could notice that her Ki was unusually similar to sunlight.
"You give me goosebumps." Letty then looked at Lazuli. Although she had knowledge stored in her memory, she had not been able to associate everything with specific things because she had only been alive for a few hours. If she had been able to, she could have said that the blonde's Ki was electrifying.
Lazuli fixed a loose strand of hair, making the Bio-Warrior feel comfortable and smile. The blonde didn't know why she had so easily accepted the responsibility of having a 'daughter,' but she was determined to do her best.
"You're very wild." This time, the comment was directed at Goku. Upon hearing those words, he laughed and scratched the back of his neck.
Letty hit the nail on the head when she said that because, even though he was a gentle Saiyan, an anomaly among his species, the savagery of his race was still latent within him. Unlike his canonical version, however, this time he had come to understand this part of his nature, accepting and integrating it into his being.
"You feel... peaceful." When Letty saw Kami-Sama, she stood still for a moment before respectfully saying those words. She didn't know why, nor did she understand the term "god," but she instinctively felt she should treat this being with care.
Her reaction made the old god smile before he examined the young Bio-Warrior more carefully. He had wanted to do this since he first observed Letty, because her way of life meant a lot to the planet. However, he was impressed by the young creature's ability to learn.
As a planetary god, only a tiny part of his Ki was divine, so it wasn't surprising that Letty could sense it. However, he was impressed that she had achieved this sensory ability despite her type of existence.
It wasn't complicated, but it was the first step in achieving excellent energy control. This required one's Ki to be in a relatively calm state. However, the way of life of a Bio-Warrior could not be associated with such concepts!
They were unnatural lives made entirely for war! Their Ki was chaotic and incompatible with nature. The world itself rejected them because they violated natural laws.
Yet, despite this, Letty had managed to retain a clear mind, far from the madness one might expect from these artificial beings. This madness is caused by the harmful nature of those chaotic energies. She had also managed to control this power, which would be toxic to any other existence in its current state.
Of course, anyone else would think that, but not Kami-Sama. As the god of this world, he could sense that Letty's existence had been accepted by nature as if she were a new species on the planet.
'Earth is a very inclusive planet that assimilates all forms of life and makes them part of its ecosystem,' Kami-Sama recalled, remembering the words of both King Kai and his predecessor as the god of Earth.
The Earth itself fostered the birth of a being like Letty, accepting and helping her emerge because Kami-Sama could feel the chaotic fluctuations of her Ki slowly calming due to environmental energy.
It didn't matter if she chose to be good or evil in the future. It was no longer a chaotic or unnatural life. Life always finds a way, and incredible things are achieved when it emerges in a world as permissive as Earth.
In this sense, the planet was like a mother cradling her child. At every moment, the planet's Ki communicated with Letty's energy, eliminating chaotic factors and nourishing her existence. Clearly, if the young Bio-Warrior trained and meditated, this process would accelerate.
'If she could do it despite her troubled origins, you can too, Piccolo,' thought Kami-Sama as he looked at the egg he was holding. He felt that the life it contained was about to be born.
Earth was a terrible place for outsiders, but kind to those who lived there. Kami-Sama hoped that the child inside the egg would grow up to protect the planet, but he would only act as a guide and not impose anything on him.
The future depended entirely on Piccolo's thoughts and actions. Kami-Sama would facilitate the relationship between the new life and humans suitable for its growth, such as Bulma.
Then, a small crack was heard coming from the egg. Everyone turned their gaze toward it and noticed a small crack in its shell. This indicated that a new being would soon see the light of day.
"I want this child to be born in the Lockout. It seems time for you to see Karin Tower." After Kami-Sama said that, Bulma and Goku's eyes lit up.
They had wanted to climb that legendary tower for a long time!
...
Since regaining consciousness, darkness was all he could see. His body was curled up and enveloped in a warm liquid that seemed to sustain him, while thoughts flowed through his young mind.
He remembered a man who rose with a greater purpose: to dominate the world! Thus, he began a crusade alongside his minions, eliminating the resistance posed by the various intelligent life forms on this planet, especially humans.
An interesting species! They were weak, yet they knew how to use every resource at their disposal. Among them were relatively powerful groups called 'Sects,' who used Ki, an energy he had mastered, in a rudimentary way.
No technique could hurt him! Those flashy energy rays only massaged his slender green skin. They didn't even serve as a reference for developing his own special techniques. So he decimated those so-called sects, reducing them all to ashes and cutting off their legacies.
In his new world, there would be no place for this group of humans. They should be relegated to slavery! As a demon, he did not need such weak and foolish minions. His own 'children' were enough for him.
However, he encountered a major setback: Mutaito. His techniques were subtle, even for a demon. He was impressed by how Mutaito used Ki and how he viewed the world, not as something to be subjugated, but as something to be understood, appreciated, and loved.
Rubbish! Yet, as if blessed by nature itself, Mutaito managed to create a sealing technique that locked him away for centuries. The darkness inside the rice cooker was more oppressive than the darkness surrounding him now, which tempered his will.
Then came the memories of another man: a normal human whose mind was superior to those around him. A brilliant scientist! His destiny was to become one of the luminaries who would guide the world in the future.
However, the majority of the scientific community did not accept his actions, forcing him to seclude himself in a remote place where he could continue his projects without much trouble.
Those two sets of memories mingled within him. Instead of giving rise to a mixed personality, however, they merely nourished the new life developing within him.
After all, he was not a conquering demon, but rather a continuation and a descendant. He was not the parasitic scientist who tried to take over his body. However, he did not waste the spark that made him one of the greatest minds on this planet.
They fed the new life, growing stronger and stronger! It grew so strong that he felt constrained by his surroundings. With force, he began to strike the darkness that surrounded him, causing a crack in it.
Soon, a small green hand reached outside, followed by an eye that looked out at the world. Blue sky, white clouds... peace. This was the first image the new being saw. For some reason, the impetuous thoughts that arose from seeing those images calmed down.
After observing the outside world for a few moments, he felt a longing to see more of this vast, peaceful place. So he began to use more of his strength to escape the place that trapped him.
Thus, in the Lockout, a small, green child wearing purple clothes and surrounded by broken eggshells gazed with fascination at the outside world. Soon, however, he realized where he was. He had memories of this place, so he must be nearby.
"Children with angry faces are ugly, you know?" An elderly, familiar voice came from behind Little Green. He jumped forward and turned around, keeping his guard up.
"Kami-Sama! I'm back!" shouted the boy in the deepest tone he could muster. But his high-pitched voice and young age made the god laugh.
"Children are always lively. You're even imitating your father. You should know that you're not him. So why are you angry with me?" Ignoring the young man's frown, Kami-Sama approached him, knelt beside him, and placed his aged hand on the boy's head.
"However, you have inherited your father's stubbornness. Tell me, what will you call yourself?" The god asked, and Little Green replied without hesitation.
"Piccolo Jr!" Piccolo instinctively used the language that only he and Kami-Sama knew.
"It seems it's time for me to tell you about our origins. While we wait for the young ones to climb the Tower of Karin, where I left them, I'll share some surprises," God murmured with an amused smile.
After all, they say that God tests his children, don't they?
