Chapter 114 - 114: Kami-Sama bless you.

"I can still feel my other self's mind struggling deep within his body. However, it's astonishing that a human scientist has achieved such a feat in the realm of consciousness," said Kami-Sama, sighing deeply as he transmitted his words to Bulma and the others' minds.

He had used his magical abilities to conceal himself from everyone, and his divine position greatly enhanced these abilities. After all, he was the god of this planet.

Furthermore, after his arduous training with King Kai, he began to use the divine power that had been transferred to him and remained dormant, controlling the strands of divine ki in his body.

This made him virtually undetectable to any sensory abilities. Still, since Bulma knew he was definitely watching and would be nearby, Kami-Sama began communicating with them.

He wanted to avoid revealing himself as the god of Earth. The rules were clear: Planetary gods must let the world progress on its own, even if it could mean the end of the world.

However, because he had gained more control over his power, the rules had become more flexible, allowing him to act more directly. Still, he was accustomed to merely observing.

This time was different, though. He was responsible for the existence of Demon King Piccolo, so he had every right to act much more directly than he had in other crises. Besides, he and Bulma had devised a plan for the future that he couldn't allow to be ruined.

"And what about his successor? We planned to raise him, didn't we?" Bulma asked. Her blue eyes shone with energy because she was using an auxiliary Ki technique that allowed her to see clearly.

Piccolo's energy attack was too bright, blinding anyone and slightly altering their perception of Ki. Bulma decided to use this method so she wouldn't lose sight of the demon.

"If Doctor Wheelo maintains control, he can use the new body to be reborn. That's something we don't want. We can't let that happen. However, we can also dilute my connection to him.

If something happens to me or that descendant in the future, the other won't die. Not only that, but I can also make him be born much more complete, which would increase his potential.

If we become one again, his power will be much greater because my existence will be stronger. Right now, I don't regret splitting myself, but I do regret the consequences it brought to the world." Kami-Sama's reflection was filled with sadness, disappointment, and fatigue.

Although his training had brought him more vitality, Kami-Sama was old and his mind was already showing some signs of fatigue. However, he was very different from his canonical version and was no longer so eager to find a replacement for his divine position.

"Kami-Sama, will this new Piccolo be strong?" Goku asked curiously, causing the hidden Kami-Sama to smile. The old god liked how cheerful the young Saiyan was.

"Of course he will. He will be a formidable warrior. I hope you will take good care of him and protect him properly. It would also be good for him to grow up with a friend.

Will you be his friend, Son Goku?" His words were full of emotion and expectation, like an old man looking at his offspring, in whom he had high hopes.

"Yes! But we have to give birth to him, right? It can't feel good to have a parasite invading your body," Goku replied, watching as the figure of 'Piccolo' became visible, though he looked emaciated.

Goku had only heard or seen the idea of one being possessing another in fiction. He had never actually encountered anything like this before. Although he was a fearless boy, a hint of fear blossomed in his eyes.

He couldn't imagine being controlled or acting under the will of others. Even worse was the idea of an entity taking over his body and making him commit atrocious acts while using his image, whether he was conscious of it or not.

So, he had an idea: he had to find a way to prevent this from happening to him or the people he cared about. It didn't matter if it was a technique, technology, or something more mysterious; he needed a way to avoid these kinds of situations.

'Just thinking that someone could take over my body and hurt the people I love...' Goku clenched his teeth, anger building in his eyes and making his presence heavier.

Bulma turned to look at her younger brother, sensing his conflicting emotions. She didn't know what caused them, but she planned to talk to him about them later. Unbeknownst to her, this would lead to a project that would save her and her friends a lot of trouble in the future.

"Let's help him. But first, let's get rid of this guy," Lazuli said, pointing to Doctor Kochin, who was still being held by Bulma.

"HAHAHAHA! It doesn't matter if you eliminate me or not! I am eternal, like my master!" the old scientist shouted, but Bulma just looked down at him with a pitying glance.

"Did you do something stupid with your consciousness or something? Let me guess. There must be a copy of it somewhere in this lair. Too bad.

It seems Doctor Wheelo isn't interested because he destroyed much of the base's infrastructure in his latest attack," said Bulma, pointing into the distance. Indeed, exposed pieces of the two scientists' secret base could be seen, damaged by Piccolo's previous attack.

"And I'm not going to let you get away with it, either," Bulma muttered in a grim tone. Even a hint of her murderous intent was evident, causing Doctor Kochin to suddenly stop laughing. Even though he wasn't an artist, he could sense it.

Bulma was really going to kill him! In fact, she had already begun her assassination. A large amount of ki accumulated in the girl's palm. Suddenly, a beam of energy covered the scientist, reducing him to ashes.

"A great mind has been lost, which always saddens me." This time, Kami-Sama's voice did not reach their minds, but his figure suddenly appeared beside them as if materializing out of thin air.

"Me too. If these guys weren't so evil, I wouldn't have a problem collaborating with them. Great minds always work better when collaborating with others on their level," replied Bulma, shaking her hands to remove the last of Dr. Kochin's ashes.

"Don't teach that to our daughter," Lazuli complained. She had covered Letty's eyes, preventing her from seeing how her girlfriend had disposed of that annoying scientist.

"Oops, never mind. I'll be more careful next time. We're almost done with all this." Bulma shrugged with a self-deprecating smile. Then she looked at Piccolo, who looked like dried-up, rotten fruit because his green skin had become withered, brown, and dry.

The power surging within him was high, but due to the clash of consciousnesses in his body, he could barely use his ki. Moreover, he was constantly shaking with purple blood oozing from him due to the spasms.

"You're still resisting. But I already know this body's functions from legends and your own DNA. Just let me..." Before Piccolo could finish, he felt a strange sensation, a pull he didn't recognize. It made him look up and fall directly into Kami-Sama's body.

"You... Who are you?" murmured Doctor Wheelo. His voice was more noticeable this time because seeing another Demon King, Piccolo, or at least someone very similar to him, was shocking. This caused the owner of the body he was possessing to try to wrest control from him, diminishing his dominance.

"I am the other half of the fool you are possessing," replied Kami-Sama. With a simple step, he crossed the long distance separating him from Piccolo's possessed body and appeared in front of him out of nowhere.

"I have to ask him to teach us that," said Goku, impressed by Kami-Sama's movement. Meanwhile, Bulma noticed something else about this action that made her nod.

'Shortening the space with footsteps, wasn't that something they said those cultivators were capable of? It seems that some techniques from those stories can be useful!' thought the blue-haired girl. She felt that she had wasted time ignoring those things because, if you took away a lot of the flowery language from those stories, many of their techniques were interesting.

But now, her attention was focused on what was happening between those two special individuals. Kami-Sama looked at Piccolo's current state with disappointment, feeling that if it weren't for his excessive confidence in his power, he wouldn't be in this deplorable state.

This was more useful to him than any warning anyone could give Piccolo, and he planned to use it as teaching material for those under his tutelage, such as Bulma and the other young people.

"Don't look at me like that! What do you know? You're just a hypocrite who can't accept yourself!" This time, sensing the way Kami-Sama was watching him, it was the real Piccolo who spoke, full of rage and anger.

He threw a punch at the god, who was merciful enough to let the blow land on his body. The attack's force was powerful, causing shock waves that spread across the frozen wasteland and shattered more glaciers.

But despite all that, the god didn't flinch at all, completely ignoring the damage he should have received. At that moment, Kami-Sama's power was too great, giving him the bearing befitting a divine figure.

If he had remained as before, the emaciated yet powerful Piccolo would have surely injured him with that punch. Now, however, not even his clothes fluttered. This made the demon realize the difference between himself and his kind.

"Yes, you're right about that. I couldn't accept the darkness within me that caused you to take shape. But now, the issue isn't with me; it's with you. It seems you need a little divine help, don't you think?" said Kami-Sama with a smile, his figure floating in front of Piccolo with the sun behind him, making him appear elevated in the eyes of his evil side.

"Hehehe...so you were a single individual? How interesting! It seems I've gotten myself into something dangerous. But if I backed down because of things like that, I wouldn't be a scientist," said Doctor Wheelo, using Piccolo's hands to try to grab Kami-Sama. However, a repulsive force pushed him back, preventing him from getting close.

"Piccolo, you like that name, don't you? You know what you should do. I won't let him hurt you. You know I'll keep my word. This can be beneficial for you," said Kami-Sama.

Wheelo felt that something bad was about to happen. But this time, Piccolo reaffirmed control of his body, glaring at God with hatred.

"Hehe... I never thought I would wake up and have to leave this way. I can feel the human's evil desires. He wants to take advantage of me, but with you here, I have a chance.

Kami-Sama! I WILL RETURN! MY DESCENDANT WILL FULFILL MY PURPOSE! I WILL RULE THIS WORLD WITH MY OWN STRENGTH!" Piccolo channeled his entire being, his Ki, his talent, his memories, to condense it into a new existence.

Doctor Wheelo tried to interfere with this process, but a strange power fell upon him. It undid his special existence and seemed to take pieces of him, purify them, and add them to what Piccolo was doing.

"Although you will remain my other half, our dependence will end here. Perhaps you will also inherit some of this scientist's talent. Who knows? They say that Namekians are a very intelligent race." This time, Kami-Sama spoke in a language that only he and Piccolo understood. Piccolo looked at him strangely.

"You found where we came from?" Piccolo asked in that same language.

"Yes, I have. I will pass that knowledge on to your next self. You know it's not a continuation of your life, but rather a new being, right? He might even turn out to be good," said Kami-Sama, causing Piccolo to grimace in mockery.

"In the end, he will make his own decisions," said the demon before spitting out a white egg. Thus, his life was completely extinguished.

His body fell apart, and a gust of cold wind carried away his ashes. It was an anticlimactic ending for someone who had wreaked havoc on Earth, but there was something different about him at the moment of his death, unlike his canonical self.

His eyes shone with more than just evil and negative emotions; they shone with appreciation. Although he could not live with the son he had created, Piccolo had placed his hopes in his offspring.

"I bless you," said Kami-Sama, tapping the ground with his wooden staff.

--------------

AN: You can think that this is an anticlimatic end, but Piccolo (the original) is a meh character, the only good point of him is that he just part of Kami-Sama. But for me, at the end of him in this fanfic, he has only more than just bad thoughts and just being evil. Piccolo jr isn't him, is a new being, but is the evidence that you can find something good in the dark.
