"Watching movies, dating, shopping, lying on the grass in the summer to watch stars, doesn't that count as being in a relationship?" Su Yan retorted.
Xu Nianhua swallowed and asked, "What about taking it a step further?"
"Holding hands?" Su Yan answered.
Xu Nianhua let out a sigh of relief, then rolled her eyes at him and said, "Yan, you scared me to death. I thought you guys were already doing things that should be done after marriage."
Su Yan's ears turned slightly red as he said, "Nianhua, even though you're married, you shouldn't say such things carelessly. Don't you know any shame?"
Su Yan pressed his lips together, trying not to show his embarrassment, and changed the subject: "Nianhua, I need your help."
"Tell me, how can I help?" Xu Nianhua didn't agree right away, as she couldn't quite understand Su Yan's actions. Was she getting old?
