Because Su Yan was preparing to propose, Xu Nianhua was afraid she'd accidentally spill the beans, so she often said she was busy and used it as an excuse to avoid Li Xiuying.
Li Xiuying felt like something was up, so today, she cornered Xu Nianhua head-on.
"Nianhua, are you hiding something from me?" Li Xiuying looked at Xu Nianhua suspiciously.
"Nope." Xu Nianhua shook her head. She wasn't good at lying, and thinking about Su Yan's plans for today, she just pretended she wasn't feeling well and tricked Li Xiuying into going to the hospital.
"Nianhua, don't scare me like that, you're okay, right?"
Li Xiuying worriedly tried to hail a cab, but before they'd gone far, they got blocked by a group.
"Who are you guys?" Li Xiuying frowned, already feeling uneasy. Seeing these little thugs pissed her off even more, so she said coldly, "Good dogs don't block the road."
