Liu Sanmei hasn't liked going out lately because of this mess. She always feels like everyone's pointing fingers at her, laughing at them, saying they mixed up fish eyes for pearls and pearls for fish eyes.
Liu Sanmei had just cut a bunch of chives and come home. She kept digging at how Hu Aihong was buttering up Ji Ying, and the more she thought about it, the more disgusted she got. She couldn't help herself.
"Me and Ji Ying are tight, like real sisters. What's this about one dog or not one dog? But you…" Hu Aihong looked Liu Sanmei up and down and said, "Wasn't your grandson working at the canning factory? How come I never see him buying you any new clothes?"
"Tsk tsk tsk." Hu Aihong shook her head as she spoke, "Yeah, well, a grandma is just a grandma. She can never compare to a real mom. Look at Zhao Juxiang, new clothes one after another."
