When Xia Lu received Jin Meng's call, she was dozing off on the sofa.
"Lulu, I might be in big trouble!" Jin Meng's tone was full of urgency.
"What happened? Take your time and speak." Xia Lu immediately sat up, shaking off her drowsiness in less than two seconds, "Don't worry, who was taken away by the ambulance?" Hearing the answer, she widened her eyes in disbelief and asked again, "Who?"
Jin Meng's voice now carried a sob, "It's Supervisor Zhang, he suddenly fainted while we were talking and was taken away by the ambulance. The hospital just sent word that it's a brain hemorrhage, and the situation is critical. He's currently undergoing emergency treatment."
