Jin Meng blinked at Jin Fengnan and quickly responded, "No, of course not." She denied it swiftly, "I know you, Mr. Jin, would want it to remain confidential. I wouldn't just go around talking about it."
"Hmm." Jin Fengnan nodded with satisfaction, "I left in a hurry that day and couldn't say much."
"What was it?" Jin Meng asked curiously.
Jin Fengnan folded his hands under his chin, pondering for a few seconds, "No strangers have called you recently, right?"
Jin Meng thought for two seconds, "I think... not. But I usually don't answer unknown numbers, so I might not have noticed."
"Good, that's fine. Since we've already met, my parents might investigate your background." Jin Fengnan looked up at her, "But since the background is fabricated, they won't find much. If there's nowhere to probe, I'm worried they might try to contact you directly. Just be cautious."
