"Why don't you stay the night, Angela?"
It was close to dinner time. Angela Michelle and her daughter were seated in the parlour.
"Oh, no, no. I promised Father I would be returning home today," Angela replied.
"Oh…" The Queen began, her gaze drifting towards the open window. "It's getting quite late already, not the perfect hour for a young and beautiful maiden such as yourself to be seen outside."
Angela blinked. "Ah…" She fidgeted slightly, unsure how to respond.
"You needn't worry about your father, Angie," Jennifer added. "We shall send a quick letter to him regarding your sleepover at the castle tonight."
"You would?" Angela's eyes widened, and she pursed her lips. "Alright, I just don't want him to worry."
