Finality's arrangements had been living rent-free inside Aleph's head since the beginning. The Cocoon of Finality received this treatment before.
'Linking two worlds… this is crazy.'
Aleph has the [FATE System] in hand. It was a one-time use item that allowed him to 'summon' servants from the 'Throne of Heroes'.
What he wanted to do was to extend the 'one-time use' to 'permanent use'. As to how, there was still a [Travel Ticket] lying somewhere in his inventory. It was a reward that allowed him to revisit one of the worlds he already visited.
Seemingly useless at first, things changed when it landed on Aleph's hands. His infinite adaptation as a soul caused him to go through countless worlds. It just so happened that Albion's home world was one of them.
Even, he had a hunch that the Achievement Hunter's basis for creating rewards lied on the worlds he visited.
'Breaking the impasse from the other worlds…'
He stood blankly in front of the Mirror Lake for a while. He superimposed both the [Lord of the Mysteries] and [Second True Magic] to maintain this faint connection with Albion's home world. He also thought of an impromptu solution and connected both the Chamber of Renewal with the Mirror Lake.
In this way, the two authorities he held—both of which are related to Albion's world—maintain a somewhat strong connection.
If there happened to be someone who projects themselves in Aleph's Spirit World, it is considered a successful fishing.
Looking at Aleph waving his arms here and then, the ELF Mobius atop his head realized how absurd his current power was. She felt that it is meaningless to compare him with others.
That was how unbelievable Aleph's power was after eleven years (one and a half on Earth).
Thinking of what they did last night made her react weirdly. Aleph felt the back of his neck tingling. It was the long-lost [Deathly Intuition] that saved him from trouble dozens of times.
'Is she cooking up something?'
Aleph did not use his god-level authorities to cheat. He used his own brain and cooked up several possibilities.
'...'
In the end, he lightly exhaled to remove these evil/tempting thoughts.
'Will the others be the same…' He stopped thinking as he reached an answer. 'Most likely.'
After a while, Albion returned to its rightful place (i.e., the Golden Prairie). It was destined to live a shut-in life until Aleph resolves this entire 'Lostbelt' and becomes able to freely travel throughout the entire world.
For now, their domain lies in this lostbelt's physical universe, and honestly speaking, going out now isn't worth the trouble.
There is trouble brewing outside. The Aeons are still in the waiting game after confirming Equilibrium's absence. They are also considering Aleph. After all, he showed enough power to overwhelm Voracity.
Just like that, the two left the Spirit World. Aleph was about to create a door to Herta's office when an alert stopped him.
{Reminder. A special scenario is currently undergoing inside the complex dimension Sanctum.}
'Ah.'
He was aware of Metatron's whereabouts this morning. She headed straight to the Sanctum. Since she was considered as Aleph's skill, her entry meant Aleph's entry. She is free to enter and browse the accumulated knowledge inside the Sanctum.
"I will bring you to an interesting place first."
"Hm..?"
Hearing Aleph's words, Mobius watched with curiosity. She saw a mark on the back of his hand glow. It was filled with incomprehensible symbols. Normal decryption techniques developed on Earth were useless when it comes to understanding it.
A flash of white light descended onto them. The next moment, she found herself in an endless white space.
All sorts of transparent symbols floated around like projections. The vague 'walls' were in the shape of endless bookshelves.
In the center of it is a pillar-like terminal. A gray-haired girl stood in front of it.
"Announcement. The entity designated as 'Han Xiao' is causing interference within the Sanctum. It is a global event."
The girl's hand touched the terminal. It responded by letting out a beam of light. A huge screen was projected. It showed the scenery of the world outside the Sanctum. Akin to Aleph's and Mobius' projections, it perfectly replicated everything.
That included the source of this universe's interference.
"This…"
An incredible conjecture appeared in Aleph's mind. He stared at the screen for a while before confirming it.
"Ahem. This is a library of sorts." He began explaining to Mobius. "This world faces a threat of endless repetition. Big Bang happens, the universe expands, then it ends. It's a cycle."
"Was this a library used to store knowledge across that cycle?"
"That's right."
He did not need to explain much as Mobius inferred its general purpose easily. It reminded her of the operation they did with the first divine key. Only, this Sanctum operated on an extremely large scale compared to the Void Archives.
It was, after all, responsible for storing countless civilizations' worth of inheritance.
"Remember Terminus? My biggest enemy so far. There's a guy in this world. He's the only God… and he showed characteristics of Terminus."
"..."
It took a while for her to process the cross-world knowledge. If it weren't for the fact that Mobius was built differently, it would be hard for one's worldview to adapt to Aleph's current circumstances.
From the simple fights with honkai, he is now facing Aeons and Gods from other worlds.
'It's not simple.' She thought. 'There's a lot of work to do.'
Part of her ambition was lit up. Mobius was dedicated to seeing everything life has to offer. She wanted to see how far evolution can bring people.
However, she also longed for the days when she fully understood Aleph. Right now, the scale of the thing he was facing was overwhelmingly huge. The previous matters on Earth were akin to child's play in his eyes.
Nevertheless, she is Mobius. This did not daunt her.
"After those twin's turn, it's mine."
Suddenly, she spoke up. Her real intention behind acquiescing to Hua and Senti was revealed.
"Will your real body be fine?"
"It will be."
"I mean, can you handle what I will do? The projection and your real body are two separate things."
"..."
Not expecting Aleph to fight her back with a dirty joke, she remained silent for a while.
