Aleph did not forget to arrange the important things. There was one extra ELF atop his head as he did so.
"Quite clever. The composition of a complex lifeform lies in their concepts. Your so-called 'Great Dao' focused on enhancing physical capabilities to the limits, then switched to intangible concepts like mind to further their progress."
Mobius gave her opinion on the 'power systems' held by Aleph.
"The threshold it requires… yes, the talents. It can be circumvented."
"Yeah. Spirit Roots are innate talent in the form of 'adaptability'. For complex lifeforms like me, it's not hard to replicate them. I have my Infinity that gave Hua and Senti the highest talent possible."
"So, you can mass-produce Gods?"
"Yeah. But I better not do it now."
With the parallel Mobius' experience of enacting a global cataclysm, she held a strange fascination towards things that could collectively increase people's strength. Only when a method could be simplified to the point of mass-production would it become interesting.
"It's too bad I can't pass it now."
"Won't you do it once you return? It doesn't make a difference."
"It makes sense."
Unfortunately, Aleph could not pass on his 'power' to the real universe. It was akin to a virtual projection. He could 'meet' Mobius and the others. The latter could also enter this 'parallel universe'. However, that was the extent of it.
They are not able to exert any kind of power. Aleph's projection is akin to 'air' in the real universe. Similarly, Mobius' ELF form is the same in this parallel universe.
The best they could do is to replicate the body's five senses to do some intimate acts.
'Hm… The restriction on this parallel universe… Other Aeons aren't able to connect to their 'selves' in the real universe.'
Aeons are complex lifeforms. They can exist simultaneously in a plethora of parallel universes. If it weren't for the fact Aleph was trapped inside this 'Lostbelt' when he became an Aeon, he could have done the same.
Their nature of being 'ever-present' is the same thing that Mei tried to replicate—by being an infinite regressor, that is.
"This is a vacant lot. I am letting things settle down for now. The strongest masterpiece will be placed here."
With a wave of his hand, Aleph made a pathway throughout the gray fog. It started to form a staircase leading to the 'highest' point of the Spirit World he built.
He did not step into the staircase. He only introduced the place for the [Ein Sof].
"Why not place it now?"
"It's too noisy. I don't know what will happen then. Ten Aeons breaking here, maybe?"
In short, it was quite troublesome. From the information he intercepted via Metatron and Lord of the Mysteries, he knew it was a special-type of 'Sefirot'.
Sefirots are 'conceptual bases' held by the True Gods of LoTM's origin world. It provides its True God holder a huge boost when it comes to conceptual capabilities.
Mysteries' original Sefirot, Sefirah Castle, could completely reject entry of other True Gods irrelevant to it and enhance capabilities in the concepts it holds (time, decryption, loophole, etc).
Aleph had a vague thought that [Ein Sof] could do much more than that.
"There's also this place. I made it up as a lake."
He pointed towards the lake formed by numerous glass shards. Cracks could be seen all over the place. Aleph's and Mobius' reflections were painted to it, forming a visual effect of a kaleidoscope.
"I can easily look up the million-year history of this universe. Time manipulation is also easier in this place…"
One-by-one, he introduced the seven special places formed within the Spirit World. These seven places corresponded to the authorities he held, save for Infinity and Lord of the Mysteries.
Golden Prairie, True Dragon.
Infinite Corridor, World.
Sea of Nothingness, Null.
Tree of Life, Spirit King.
Silver Moon, Finality.
Mirror Lake, Second True Magic.
Chamber of Renewal, Third True Magic.
These places had one thing in common: The application of the authority they represent becomes automatic.
Meaning to say, these places are the 'rewards' he grants to his Pathstriders whenever one of them progresses. It removes the necessity of him having to personally settle their affairs.
"Ho? You will give me an entire army?"
"Think of them as people who volunteer to do your work. It's convenient, isn't it?"
The Tree of Life was created particularly to assist Aleph's designated spirits of ten. Its main function was to create a 'mission board' where Perpetuity's Pathstriders are able to accomplish. Its administrators are the ten spirits on his Spirit King authority.
"Haven't you forgotten to bring me to another place?"
Suddenly, Mobius asked him.
"The Genius Society." She said. "I want to meet the ones you have been telling me about."
"Oh."
Aleph's first thought was:
'It's not a good idea.'
When the sarcastic Mobius meets the narcissistic Herta, it's akin to two unstoppable forces meeting. He knew it was the worst case, but there had been a precedent, namely Vill-V.
"Do you think it's a bad idea?"
"Quite." He admitted frankly. "I think you will be fine with Ruan Mei. She's doing the same thing as you. As for the other one…"
"The one you called the witch? I'm now interested."
Thinking he was in for a ride, Aleph resigned to his fate.
Just then, he happened upon a strange sight.
"Huh."
He was quite dumbfounded.
"Albion. You should come and see this."
Hearing his call, a mountain-sized white dragon appeared out of nowhere. It dove straight to the ground. It landed forcefully, causing a lot of shockwaves to appear.
"...Hum."
It took a while to elicit a response from it.
"There is no doubt. This is thine world."
In the Mirror Lake, there was an extremely small portion that reflected a somewhat discordant scenery. The planet's surface had been razed to the ground. No signs of life could be seen from it. The destroyed planet's sole hope was its core that was maintaining its orbit.
Unfortunately, even the sun within its solar system had more or less been affected.
It was the world of a ruined Earth, the legitimate Lostbelt. Most importantly…
It is Albion's home world.
Thinking of the one-time use [FATE System] lying in his inventory, a previous idea of his emerged.
'It's more plausible now.'
