Leina could be seen with her hands cuffed at a desk, still in the detention room with other kids as she would look down at her desk, thinking to herself.
"I really wish I could be there, Jack. Gosh I'm sorry…I wish I- huh??" Leina's thoughts would be interrupted from the sound of commotion from a nearby building.
"What was that? Jack?! Jack, are you there?!" Leina would call out, only for the sitting staff in the room to get out of her chair.
"I'll be checking what made that noise. You need to be quiet." She says to the helpless Leina.
"What if it's dangerous?" Leina asks.
"I should keep on a lookout shouldn't I?" The staff member asks, before walking out of the room, leaving Leina with 3 other kids unattended.
"Hmf, what do I look like being held in a room with three boys?" Leina asks herself before the other kids all give her worried looks.
Leina stares back at them before letting out a sigh.
Outside of the room, the staff member is seen walking in the hallway, seeing other kids running away in the opposite direction, causing her to sprint over in what she assumes to be the line of fire, only to see Donna walking down the hallway in the distance.
"Hey! What are you doing?! What's going on here?!" The staff member would ask.
Donna looks back at her but says nothing in return.
"Hey I'm talking to you!" The staff member says
"Where's Leina?" Donna would ask, answering the staff member's question with a question.
"I'm not telling you anything until you tell me what the hell is going on at this academy." The staff member would say with conviction.
"Then you're no use to me." Donna coldly says before she reopens her eyes, revealing her eyes to be carrying a mysterious red Y symbol.
"What the hell is that?" The staff member asks as she looks on into Donna's demonic looking eyes.
As she asks this, the hallway lights would shut off, one by one. This causes Donna to be fully engulfed in darkness where only the glowing red symbols in her eyes could be visible from within it.
"W-what are you-"
"There's no need to ask anything for now. So don't run, don't fight. This will only take a second." Donna says, cutting the staff member off completely. The lights ahead of Donna, closer to the staff member, all begin to shut off one after the other.
These red symbols could be seen getting closer and closer as each light shuts off. With the last light shutting down, there would be complete silence. Not a scream, not a struggle, not a breath. Meanwhile, Leina could be seen walking to the detention door, before peaking out of the room and seeing nothing but darkness. As she does this, footsteps could be heard in the distance.
"Come on out Leina…there's no staff that will be nearby to see us. It's just me and you now." Donna says from within the darkness.
"Shit…" Leina says, before looking back into the room full of boys.
"Stay here. You'll be safe I promise." She says, as one of the boys would look on at her with a bothered look, and giving his thoughts.
"Look, I don't think we need some girl in a mask to protect us. We can protect ourselves." He says.
Leina in response, uses telekinesis to grab the Kenshu enhanced dagger she hid in her pocket, to cut herself free from detainment, before looking back in the same boy's direction and making a solid comeback.
"Then stay out of my way." She finishes, walking out of the room and facing the area of which she could hear footsteps.
"It's been a while, Leina. Are you done hiding from me? Who was in there with you? Senra?" The voice of Donna could be heard saying, as the red glowing symbols in her eyes could be seen turning into the direction of the pitch black hallway Leina occupies.
Leina's eyes would then be seen to glow a brown color, allowing her to see. The use of essence into her ocular capabilities, allowing her to see in the dark.
"What did you do to him?! Where is he?!" Leina yells from within the darkness.
"So you can see in the dark too? That's cool ya know? I haven't met anyone that could do that sa-"
"WHERE IS HE?!" Leina shouts, cutting Donna off, caring more about Jack and less about the threat in front of her.
"Heh, you mean your boyfriend, Jack Sawlendore?" Donna questions enthusingly, as if she knew that Leina was trying to keep his name from her.
"That idiot! He really told her his name and managed to get on his good side?! I told this fool not to trust her! What was he thinking?? It doesn't even look like she fought anyone…" Leina says from within her mind.
Donna lays her head to the side, to rest it on her fist as she gives a sly grin to Leina.
"Cat got your tongue Leina?" Donna asks with a condescending tone.
"Curiosity is what killed the cat Donna." Leina responds.
"Jack's at the arena with Kyuya right now, getting a beating out on him for trying to antagonize me." Donna would say with a sudden confidence.
"What?! I need to stop them!" Leina says before she turns away from Donna, trying to rush out of the area.
"Oh no you don't…" Donna says, placing her hand out and casting a mysterious ability, that seemingly does absolutely nothing.
"This place is my domain now. No amount of force you put into your strength, will allow you to break through this domain. It's about time I do what I should've been doing earlier. This time, you have nowhere to run, no one to save you." Donna would say, before taking out a katana & spiked whip that have seemingly been cloaked by her essence the entire time she's been at the academy.
As Leina would stand there, she would think to herself as flashbacks to her last battle with Donna went. Picturing when she had stood over Leina as she was bleeding profusely all over, her mouth bloody with her hair covering her face, all the while Donna would smile on in gratitude.
"She nearly killed me when I was 8 years old…I don't know why…she's always hated me and my family for no reason. If my father wasn't there to make her run away, she would have killed me. That's what she wanted. Father always made sure I knew how to defend myself but it was never enough when it came to her. She was stronger than me back then, and she still is…she's always been stronger than me. What would Jack do?" Leina says in her mind, contemplating on what her next move should be.
Meanwhile, Jack would be seen taking a punch to the gut, before being kicked in the face and landing on his feet. The two would seemingly be outside, as the arena they had originally fought at, had become completely demolished, turning the arena into something unrecognizable. Regardless they would continue to fight outside of the building, not caring for the onlookers that would see them in the middle of this intense battle.
"Do you understand what it means to go out of your way to get stronger, when you have no one to be around? When all you have is yourself?" Kyuya asks, as he gives Jack a two hit combo.
"You don't know what it means to be strong!" Jack would yell out.
"Why are you like this?" Jack questions, not understanding why Kyuya could be as explosive and egotistical as he is.
"My clan was made only for the ones that were strong enough to be in it. Weak people like you, were the reason my clan was made in the first place! So we cast them out. We even make sacrifices to gain power. With some even sacrificing their own family members to protect the ones they cared the most about. If everyone was equally strong, this wouldn't have happened." Kyuya responds, revealing the twisted nature of his clan.
"What is wrong with you? All of you! Why would father ever let you into this village, when you're in a clan like that?" Jack questions, looking up at the floating Kyuya.
Kyuya would give a smile before answering Jack's heated question, with Kyuya beginning to have a flashback of his harsh upbringing within the clan he came from.
"Our clan, the Touta clan…was designed so that we could be the strongest clan no matter what. We did that, by running constant tournaments where the weak would fight to the death, while the strong would all watch. We had to earn our place in this world. Each battle we fought, we risked dying over. If we wanted to train, we fought to the death amongst each other." Kyuya says, revealing the true nature of the Touta clan.
"Why? Why do this to people? They didn't have to do that to innocent people!" Jack says with a conflicted tone.
"We had no choice. It was kill or be killed. Our clan was made after our nation was destroyed during the Great War of Nations. Because of that, the people that survived the destruction, came together to make a clan, a clan that was run by criminals in power, all to take back our nation. They thought by doing this, they would be creating the strongest soldiers out of any clan." Kyuya reveals, with a soft but hesitant tone, not even being able to look at Jack anymore.
"That's so cruel…What about your mother and your father? A brother? A sister?" Jack questions with a hint of empathy in his voice.
But in response, Kyuya would grit his teeth and ball his fist with his head ducked down.
"My weak father tried all he could to keep me from the world of the Tota clan, because he was afraid they would go after me. That's why I'm the only child they had. But at the same time, why would they even decide to bring me into this world? Because of all of this, my mother sacrificed herself to make me stronger, in the means to be safe. Her essence and mana was stored within me. But even that wasn't enough for the Tota clan.
My father carried me out of their land but he was caught, trying to escape. I was too young to be executed at the time. I was only 9 years old. But I guess they didn't care. Because the next day, they forced me to watch the slow torture and execution of my father, right in front of me, before casting me out of the clan and leaving me to die. In the end, he was deemed too weak to care for his family." Tears would flow down Kyuya's face as he said these heartbreaking words.
"Kyuya…I-"
"This is why we will NEVER understand each other!" Kyuya says, talking over Jack, while lifting his head to look back into Jack's eyes with a look of despair & rage.
"Maybe we don't have to fight like this. Let's do something different. I can help you." Jack insists, dropping his guard to change the outcome of the situation.
"It's too late for that. You can't change my mind. This is my true test. You pushed me this far. If I can't defeat you, then my strength is nothing to the Touta clan. But that won't happen! When I'm done with you, I'll get my revenge on the Touta clan by myself! I'll prove them wrong about me! I'll kill them all, starting with you!" Kyuya would threaten, making Jack get to a defensive stance.
"That's not going to happen Kyuya!" Jack yells.
"Then show me!" Kyuya responds as he begins to shoot mysterious black, oil-like balls made from his Wrath, out of his held-out fists, and into Jack's direction.
"Parasitic Burst Gallery!" Kyuya calls out within his mind.
Jack would dodge, evade, & flip over every one of these volatile projectiles, as they could be seen to combust, further destroying the area around them. Meanwhile, students around the area and within the halls could be seen, running to safety all over the school. But soon, Jack would get caught by one of these explosions. But from Kyuya's surprise, Jack emerges from the smoke and debris, to throw a punch to the stomach of Kyuya.
In response, Kyuya's body would quickly liquify into a gas-like liquid, before exploding in point blank range of Jack, knocking him away from his previous position, only to see Kyuya looming over him with a dissatisfied look on his face.
"It doesn't have to be like this Kyuya. We can still be friends!" Jack would insist, still attempting to turn Kyuya away from his ways of fighting him.
"We can't. Butcher's been taking care of me. The guy that destroyed a part of the Founders Mansion is my caretaker. He wouldn't like it if he saw us working together. There's nothing you can do Jack." Kyuya would reluctantly admit to Jack, as if he were hiding it from him this whole time.
"He's your caretaker?! That guy is an enemy to the village and you're sided with him?!" Jack would respond.
Kyuya would look disappointed as he hears this.
"I know…I couldn't tell anyone because it was important to some plan he had. But when he bombed the mansion, I couldn't admit to it because it would make me an enemy to everyone too. Picking a side doesn't matter anymore. Look around you, Jack."
Jack would listen and take a look around himself, seeing the demolished state of the academy.
"I caused all of this. I destroyed half of this academy. I am your enemy and there's nothing you can do to change that. So stop hesitating and fight me!" Kyuya would insist, raising his palm and charging up another explosive blast.
"Fine, bring it on!" Jack says, giving in to his helplessness, before engaging in another fight
"About time." Kyuya says with a smirk before blasting these explosives in Jack's direction.
Jack would again dodge and evade these explosives.
"He's trying to keep me away from him to drain my energy. I feel like half of my essence has been drained already from his abilities and my own. I need to get closer to him and make him fight me up close!" Jack would keep note subconsciously.
A yellow and cyan field of electricity would surround Jack, while he's seen gritting his teeth in doing so.
"Full Charge: Thunderclap Windbreaker!" Jack calls out, before speeding over towards Kyuya in an instant, faster than what he had done to Donna.
"No, I can't liquify myself before he attacks me! I have to block it!" Kyuya says, not knowing what to do at this moment.
Regardless, Jack would land an uppercut on Kyuya. But to Jack's surprise, it would be caught in Kyuya's hand perfectly, as it's revealed to look as if his eyes have become more focused than ever.
"You're wide open, HAAAH!" Kyuya says, kicking Jack into the sky and quickly follows suit, to attack him once again.
This time, Jack and Kyuya would be going back and forth, throwing punches and kicks that are soon to be evaded, dodged, and flipped over, all while flying in the sky. But it would all be stopped by both fighters landing a punch on each other, knocking them away. Immediately after, both Jack and Kyuya would charge up a head on attack from within their fists that would clash against each other.
This clash would send a wave of energy throughout the entire village sky, blowing away all of the clouds from above the city sized village, making them completely visible to onlookers from below.
"Kyuya! You can still redeem yourself! I know you can! We can help you find someone better than Butcher to help you!" Jack would say, still trying to get Kyuya to change his mind about this fight.
Both fighters would continue their back to back fighting, flying around in the sky, going blow for blow. Noticeably, Kyuya's fists would be engulfed in a dark oil like surface, that would turn his punches into explosive ones, causing each and every punch he lands, to explode.
"No! I don't need anyone else! I don't want anyone else! I'm fine how I am! You act like everything is perfect! Like you can have everything your way!" Kyuya says almost enraged once again, while landing an open volatile punch on the face of Jack.
"THIS IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND ME! AND YOU WANT TO ACT LIKE ALL OF IT CAN CHANGE JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE IT? GET REAL! YOU GET TO FLOURISH WHEN I DONT! YOU HAD IT ALL AND NOW YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST BE THE HERO OF THIS WORLD LIKE THIS IS SOME FAIRY TALE?!" He says, punching Jack again, before comboing Jack with consecutive volatile punches, as his rage continues to build.
"I LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE I WAS WEAK! YOU HAD CHANCES AND I NEVER HAD ANY! DONT YOU UNDERSTAND?! I HAVE NOTHING! NO FRIENDS, NO FAMILY, ANYTHING! EVERYTHING I HAD IS GONE! EVERYTHING!!" Kyuya screams out in a burst of emotion, landing a devastating volatile blow on Jack, winding him, and sending him back to the destroyed arena at extreme speeds.
Jack crashes into the ground, creating an explosion within the arena. Inside of the destroyed arena, Jack could be seen to be incapacitated on the ground, being bloody once again from these devastating blows. Jack's vision would be a blur, he would then have flashbacks of Kuro smiling joyfully at him, and laughing out loud.
"Kuro…I have to protect you no matter what." Jack would say to himself as he tries to move and regain his vision.
but as he regains his sight and stopping himself from passing out, he would look to see Kyuya in the sky, grabbing his head as if he was trying to contain something before eventually seeing a large amount of essence emit from him, as his whole body would turn black and his face would become unrecognizable, as purple and green energy surrounds his body, giving birth to what could be assumed to be an enraged shell of himself.
"His essence! It's shooting up like crazy! Can I really take this guy on with how I am now? Gosh I need to try. I need to save Kyuya before it's too late. Hang in the bro. I'm not going to let you suffer." Jack would say in his head as he gets back up, and charges his essence once again.
Meanwhile, Leina from within the hallway, could be seen missing every punch and kick thrown at Donna, with Donna folding her arms and keeping a smirk on her face as she effortlessly avoids everything Leina throws at her.
"Is this all you've been working on? Gosh you're really boring Leina. I thought you could've learned something." Donna insults, as she grabs hold of Leina's hair, before tossing her against the wall ahead of her.
"Get up Leina. Get up." Donna would encourage, still smirking away.
Her kimono, hair, and other details would all look untouched as this goes on within the blacked out hallway.
"W-why are you doing this to me? I did nothing to you!" Leina yells in retaliation.
"Sure you did, Leina. Should I remind you what you did to my big brother and my father?" Donna would ask with her sword raised.
"I did nothing to them!" Leina would yell out, insisting the opposite.
"So I'm doing all of this for no reason? Give me a break! If all you're going to do is lie to me, there's no point in talking yourself out of this! So take your punishment!" Donna responds, throwing Leina to the side as if she was trash.
Leina would get back up, picking her dagger up off the ground, before looking into Donna's direction.
"Seishin gate OPEN! Let the wrathful essence flow from within you!" Leina calls out, as she begins to open the Seishin gate, combining the Seishin energy with her essence, creating the strongest form of essence right before Donna.
"My! My! What a complete form of essence! But using the power of wrath against someone that's hardly trying? How unfair." Donna comments without a hint of worry in her tone.
"No amount of attacks can work on her. I've seen these eyes of hers before. She can predict moves before they even happen. She calls it the Psychic eye. Pair this with Soul or Sight Seeking, and she's untouchable. But no matter how psychic she is, she can't dodge something she can't react to." Leina would uncover as she comes up with a new plan.
"Show me what you have in store." Donna says with her arms crossed.
But to Donna's surprise, Leina would be in formation for an attack she wouldn't be expecting.
"Moon Style: Heels of Ascent!" Leina calls out subconsciously, before almost instantly appearing behind Donna.
"What?! I can't react!" Donna would shout subconsciously as she's hit with a kick that winds her.
"What did you say about unfair?" Leina asks with a new found confidence, as she pairs her kick with a spin kick that sends her barreling on the ground until she regains control of herself.
"You…you actually hit me…for the first time. That shouldn't EVER happen!" Donna would comment, getting back up to see Leina already closing the distance.
As she sees this, Leina would provide no time for Donna to fully recover, landing additional blows to her face and body. But eventually, Donna would begin to block her attacks, delivering counters right back to Leina with her sword. Before long, Donna would throw Leina away from her, to gain some distance away from her.
"Seishin Gate OPEN! And bless me with your wrathful impurity!" Donna calls out.
"NO!" Leina shouts, as she throws her Kenshu enhanced dagger at Donna, all for it to be futile, as its trajectory gets completely broken by Donna's intense surge of burning red wrath around her.
Donna's hair would flow in the air as her Wrath energy would surround her. With that, she would begin to walk slowly towards Leina, no longer carrying the cocky carelessness she once had before.
"Maybe it's time I actually take you seriously for once. But be warned, you won't like how this ends for you." Donna would say, picking up Leina's dagger and continuing her walk.
Leina would jump back to gain distance.
"This isn't good! Dammit! In this domain she's made, I can't even use any telekinetic abilities to distract her. Physical attacks won't work anymore, now that she's reached this level. I have to use-"
"Enough." Donna says, talking over Leina as she could be seen standing over her.
"What?" Leina would say, but it doesn't matter anymore.
Donna would punch Leina in the stomach before launching multiple attacks, all of which being more devastating than the other.
"Stop acting like you can keep up with me! I am and will always be universes above you!" Donna says, before launching an uppercut to Leina's mask, shattering the top left side of it, which sends Leina away from Donna.
Leina groans and turns away from Donna, trying to get back up, only to get kicked onto her stomach and getting flipped over to look Donna in the eyes. With that, Donna would press her foot on Leina's stomach. Lifting her katana, she stabs it through Leina's stomach, causing her to wench in pain.
"This is just the beginning. My weapons are imbued with a special toxin that allows more pain to be felt by its victims" Donna would uncover, before snapping both of Leina's legs.
Leina screams in pain. The feel of her bones snapping, would consume her. But regardless, Donna would continue by taking the katana out of Leina's stomach, making her yell in pain once again. Donna would cross both Leina's legs together before using a part of her domain as a projectile to crush the both of them, making Leina scream even more, and stopping her from moving her legs.
"DONNA STOP! STOP THIS!" Leina would scream out.
"NO!" Donna responds, with her snapping both of Leina's arms in the process.
The more the pain, the more agonizing her screams would become, as Donna would place both Leinas hands together and stabbing them both, with the same dagger Leina used to attack her. The boys from the detention room would cry in panic, hearing their deemed protector, screaming in absolute agony from the dark hallway.
"Now it's about time I do what I should've done!" Donna yells with a pure bloodlusted and cruel smile on her face, grabbing a hold of her katana and stabbing it into Leina's torso repeatedly, making Leina's screams go from downright agonizing, to downright bloodcurdling.
"SCREAM LEINA! SCREAM! DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW? THIS IS ALL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IS GOOD FOR! KEEP SCREAMING! AND DON'T THINK FOR A SECOND THAT YOU'LL DIE EITHER! I KNOW HOW YOUR HEALING FACTOR WORKS. AND RIGHT NOW, I WILL MAKE USE OF IT. SO SUFFER!" Donna yells maniacally, all while keeping a crazed smile on her face as she does so.
"IT HURTS!" Leina cries out.
"GOOD! IT SHOULD HURT! IT SHOULD ALWAYS HURT! JUST DIE FOR ALL I CARE!" Donna would yell out.
"I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING! I CANT STAY LIKE THIS! TAKEMI! SENRA! JACK! I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. I CANT LET THAT SIDE OF ME OUT. IT'S TOO DANGEROUS! I CANT LET THAT SIDE OF ME OUT! I CANT! BUT IF I DONT…I MIGHT DIE. JACK I'M SORRY!" Leina would say all in her mind, being conflicted about what she should do, contemplating on releasing a hidden side to her that she's afraid of.
But as this goes on, Leina would lose consciousness from the extreme levels of pain and blood loss. This would only make Donna furious, knowing she can't torture Leina any longer.
"Looks like the little bitch passed out. Dumb girl couldn't handle the pain. What a shame." Donna says, stepping away from Leina, and taking away the objects and weapons that kept her immobile, causing her to bleed even more.
"Oh how I enjoyed every moment of that…and I'll do it all over again when she wakes back up. But now it's Senra's turn." Donna says, walking away as her domain departs.
But as she walks away, a spark is heard in the distance, where Leinas body originally was.
"Huh?" Donna would say, being confused as ever, looking over to see what it was.
In her bewilderment, she would see Leinas blood soaked body, beginning to stand back up in silence, before seemingly taking off her mask, throwing it to the side before turning around, revealing two blood red demon eyes, with a white cloth covering her nose and mouth, used as a makeshift face mask. An evil and powerful red essence is felt and seen emanating the entire area.
"What is this? Why am I sensing an entirely different mana pattern? It's so dark and demonic…it's the same with her essence. What's going on???" Donna questions from within her mind.
Leina would form a bright red sword made from the evil essence she's been emitting, into her hand, and staring back at Donna with a look more intimidating than ever seen, by the likes of Leina.
"Prepare yourself! Today, you will suffer a fate far worse than death itself." Leina threatens, with her voice more notably sounding distorted, as if she and a woman were speaking in tandem to one another.
