Thousands of eyes watched the stage as two figures laid their head on the chopping block. The deafening roars never ended and the blood lust grew thicker.
"Bastards like them deserve to die!"
"You monsters killed my child!"
"Kill them already what are we waiting for?!"
Lunar stood between the figures emotionless, two executioners bearing axes by his side. His dark brown eyes layed rest apon these familier figures on the block and seemed to recount endless stories like a never ending dream. The ashen faces cursing him once held a loving smile and the bloody hands that used to hold him tight now tremble in fear.
"Silence... by his majesty's imperial decree the rebellion forces will be put to death. In addition to this the hero who cut his blood ties in order to prove his loyalty to our emperor will be rewarded with an entry to the royal academy." The scholar shouted in a righteous tone.
"All hail the emporer may he live for eternity" the crowed bowed and shouted in unison.
"You bastard, I should have never raised you. After all our hard ship is this how you repay us!" The father shouted at Lunar with bloodshot eyes.
"We should have killed you while we still had the chance. I wish you were never born." The mother half crying and half enraged proclamed.
Lunar wore an unreadable expression but in the end he look towards the crowd and shouted. "These traitorous rebels have been rampant in our country for far too long, they cause death and destruction wherever they go and must be brought to justice. I will not speak on our bond since even if I needed to cut my life short I would do it for the emperor."
"Well said and don't worry loyal subjects will be looked after in our empire." The scholar said to Lunar among the constant chears.
Lunar walked towards a golden Crane the size of a building as instructed by the scholar. Speedly rising high in the sky Lunar finaly escaped the grim scene and as he rose higher into the clouds two lifless heads fell to the ground, but to Lunar the pure air felt like warm water washing away all the tension from his body, for once in a long time Lunar could look towards the dim horizen and breath a breath of freash air.
