"Anyway, you don't have anything you lack, and you spend most of your time lazing around. So, as a goal, it's not bad, right?" Anastasia said, trying to lift his spirits.
"…Yeah."
Christian's answer lacked enthusiasm, but he didn't argue.
Still slightly disappointed, he walked alongside the cheerful Anastasia. The two wandered seemingly aimlessly until they eventually reached an empty alley.
"Come out. How long do you plan to keep following us? You've already been found out." Christian spoke as if putting the sealed treasure aside for the moment.
A moment of silence passed.
"Since when did you notice?"
A man stepped out from the shadows with a sinister smile.
It was, Marcus, the same man who had tried to cheat Christian out of ten Essence Stones at the Essence-related store.
Christian barely paid him any attention, however. His gaze moved past him and settled on the other four men following behind.
They were employees of Aether & Co. the same store he had just left.
