Chapter 74 Ancient Gateway
Karn dismounted and approached the gate.
"This is it," he murmured.
As Karn approached the ancient gateway city, the towering stone archway loomed before him, intricately carved with symbols of a long-lost civilization. The air was thick with the scent of history, and the whispers of the past seemed to echo through the stones.
He could feel the weight of countless footsteps that had traversed this path before him, each one a testament to the city's grandeur.
However, as he neared the entrance, two imposing guards stepped forward, their armor glinting in the sunlight. They crossed their spears in front of him, blocking his way.
"Halt! State your purpose and identity!" one of the guards commanded, his voice deep and authoritative.
Karn straightened his posture, meeting their gaze and replied "I am Karn, student of Nalanda University. I have come to explore the Ancient Gateway city and to pay my respects to its legacy."
