Chapter 38 - MEETING WITH THE DEVIL HIMSELF

Strangely Lucian trusted this weird man and didn't even at first think he was here to harm him, so he walked to him and sat down beside him, still being careful, and the man smiled staring at him for a while before looking ahead,

"You look horrible, how long have you been kept here?" He asked and Lucian also looked ahead, emotionless,

"Ten days now," he replied coldly as his thought went back to his mother again and once again he turned sad and the man beside him saw it,

"What's wrong?" He asked even though he had an idea,

Lucian turned to look at him and said, "My mother, I miss her,"

"I do too," the man said and his expression suddenly turned cold and extremely scary that his powerful aura was rising again and filling the room, making it stuffy for even young Lucian,

"My mother? Do you know her?" When the man suddenly heard the boy's voice, his expression changed and went back to normal, making the air around them more breathable,

The man smiled at the boy, "She was a beautiful woman, with silver hair and black eyes... You look just like her, my Genevieve," the man said expressionless,

"Who really are you? And how did you get into my cell without keys?" The young boy asked confused,

"I am your grandfather, Silver... Your mother's father," he exposed and Lucian eyes widen like saucers, Silver chuckled watching him, "Surprised?"

"Are you serious, mister?" Lucian asked

"I'm not a joker, so I must be serious... I might be the devil but I don't lie," he said with a grin on his handsome face and Lucian did see resemblance to both him and his mother, only that this man had silver eyes,

"So you are my grandpa?" He asked again

"I am... Aren't I handsome?" Silver asked with a smile and Lucian just stared stunned,

There was silence between them for some time before the man spoke,

"Anything you'd like to ask?"

It took a while but Lucian spoke,

"Grandpa?"

"Yes?"

"You know that mama is dead right," Lucian spoke sadly and the man named Silver nodded with a frown on his face. It was because he had warned his daughter to not leave hell and go explore earth because it could be dangerous for her even if he was the devil's daughter but he knew his daughter, she was just too soft hearted, different from him and that's because she took after her mother, a mere mortal...

His thoughts were brought back when the young boy who looked alot like his daughter tapped him gently,

"Mother didn't deserve to die, I don't know why they killed my mother..." He said as a single tear dropped from his black eyes, he suddenly felt really weak and sad,

Silver smiled as he pat the young boy on his back, "You've shed enough tears now, Lucian... Your mother won't be happy to see you in this state....." He paused, "Better than crying, there are other ways to get yourself from feeling guilty about her death...." He grinned as he spoke and young Lucian turned to look at him with hopeful eyes, thinking this man might have a way to bring the dead back, since he could get into his cell without keys,

"Mister, can you bring my mom back?" He asked innocently and the man burst into laughter,

"I wish I could," was all he said after his laughter died down, if he could he'd bring both his wife and daughter back because they both meant alot to him, but now it's going to be this boy.... Selene seems to be more like the vampires like her father and posses no bloodline of him, except from Lucian, "But that is not the only way for you to feel less guilty.... How about we kill those peasants?"

Lucian eyes widen like saucers once again, was his grandpa really telling him to kill people, "Are you serious right now, mister?"

"I think I am...."

He saw the look on Lucian's face and frowned, hope he won't be a weakling like his mother, if so then he should just kill this boy to stop him from experiencing all the misery his daughter had to go through too, "They killed your mother Lucian, didn't even think twice, what are you thinking! I thought you wanted to kill them all!" He spoke in anger and Lucian froze but slowly the hatred for his aunt and uncles for killing his mother so ruthlessly surfaced and he felt his blood boil in rage, they killed my innocent mother he thought,

"Let's do it,"
