Synopsis
In the remote corner of the World, humanity’s unchecked ambition for a unlimited energy source inadvertently sparks the evolution of the Universe itself. In doing so, they unleash an apocalyptic upheaval—an onslaught of otherworldly catastrophes that threaten civilization’s survival. But this cosmic shift also births a powerful [Universe Core], a newly formed nexus that bestows rewards on those who contributed, knowingly or unknowingly, to its creation. Chris Lunarborn, a down-to-earth engineering student, is like everyone receive such a gift: the rare, not unique, [Engineer] class. At first, he questions how problem-solving and technical know-how can help in a world overrun by evolving animals, collapsing cities, and rampaging supernatural energy that forcing everyone to either evolve or transform them into monsters. Yet as the apocalypse deepens, Chris discovers that crafting defenses, salvaging technology, and building new settlements might just be the key to keeping loved ones safe—and forging a brighter future in the chaos. With his family scattered across the ruins of a world turned hostile, Chris embarks on a perilous journey. He must navigate treacherous wastelands, form alliances with fellow survivors, and harness the powers of his rare class to rebuild from the ashes. As Chris learns to push his [Engineer] class to unimaginable heights, he begins to see a path not just for survival, but for kingdom-building—a chance to create sanctuaries amid the devastation. But danger looms around every corner, and the evolving Universe has its own designs for humanity’s next chapter. Will Chris Lunarborn’s technical ingenuity, backed by the blessings of a transcended Universe, be enough to save his family and carve out a new civilization? Or will the relentless apocalypse consume them all, leaving only ruins behind? Find out in Trial of Transcending, an epic saga of survival, invention, and the rebirth of hope in a cosmos on the brink of cosmic rebirth. |--------| Author's note:- Hello guys, I would like to inform you that i am a newbie writer with experience of writing essays in exam. so please cope with my mistake if you find any of them and please support me to let me know that my story is compelling to you |--------| Disclaimer This is a work of fiction. Chapter 1 - Ambition of a Crazed Scientist(1)

Location: Hidden Research Facility, Remote Island, South Pacific Ocean

Time:1600 hours, 13th August 2026

In the vast emptiness of the South Pacific Ocean, a remote island lay forgotten by the world. Craggy cliffs, treacherous terrain, and dense jungle surrounded its core—a silent volcano, long dormant, towering like a sentinel from a bygone era. The island had no name on any modern map. No shipping route passed nearby. No planes flew overhead.

It was the kind of place that would be perfect for a survival show. But this island was no set. It was a secret.

Buried deep beneath the volcanic rock was a classified, multinational research facility—an unprecedented alliance between former rivals and global powers: the United States, Russia, China, India, and a few other silent partners. In a rare moment of cooperation, these governments had come together to avoid future conflict, seeking one thing: a solution to the world's growing energy crisis.

This island held their last hope.

Inside the facility, scientists worked across several departments—green energy, fusion reactors, geothermal harnessing, and even theoretical zero-point energy. But beneath all of them, nestled in the deepest level of the complex, was the most controversial of all: the Department of Negative Energy.

Today, tension gripped the air like a storm waiting to break.

**Third Person POV**

Two figures moved swiftly down the main hallway of Sector X-9. The fluorescent lights flickered overhead, casting rhythmic shadows as the two men walked.

Leading the way was an older man in his sixties—Professor Xavier White. His once-black hair had turned snow-white from age and stress, but his posture was still sharp, his steps driven by purpose. Behind him hurried a man in his forties, a researcher named John, whose expression was a mixture of concern and confusion.

"Sir," John called, panting slightly. "What did the higher-ups say? Are we approved for another trial?"

Xavier came to a sudden stop.

"No," he replied tersely, not turning around. "They said our research is a fantasy. They don't believe [Negative Energy] exists."

John's breath caught in his throat. "They're cutting us off?"

"They gave us a month," Xavier said bitterly. "One month to show proof—or we're shut down. No more funding. No more access. Our decade of work… erased."

The younger man fell silent, his thoughts racing.

"So… does this mean we're abandoning the project?" he finally asked.

Xavier turned to him slowly, his eyes burning with conviction.

"No. Never. I've spent ten years on this. I've sacrificed everything—my reputation, my tenure, my family. And you've stood with me, John. You know better than anyone what we've found."

"I do," John admitted. "But controlled generation is impossible. The models are unstable. Even a tiny miscalculation—"

"I know," Xavier interrupted, voice cold. "That's why we won't control it."

John's eyes widened. "Wait. You mean… you're going through with the full-scale test? An uncontrolled reaction?"

"Yes," Xavier said. "If I must risk destruction to prove I'm right… then so be it."

"But sir, we don't know what will happen. Theoretical physics suggests Negative Energy doesn't just repel—it *reverses* space-time gradients. It could collapse reality as we know it."

"I understand the risks," Xavier said, eyes narrowing. "But I'm not chasing fame. I'm chasing the truth. I *have* to prove that my work is real."

Xavier turned and resumed walking—faster this time—leaving John staring after him, chilled to the bone.

**Twenty Days Later**

The atmosphere inside the facility was electric with tension. Whispers filled the corridors. Engineers checked equipment with trembling fingers. Scientists exchanged tight-lipped glances. Everyone knew something big was coming. Today was the demonstration.

In the Observation Room—built like a panoramic chamber with bulletproof glass overlooking the island's jungle—officials from all participating nations gathered. Generals, senators, energy ministers, and intelligence directors sat in rows, murmuring quietly.

At exactly 1600 hours, Professor Xavier entered.

He stood at the center, facing the glass wall, hands behind his back. Outside, the jungle rustled in the wind, and far in the distance, the long-dead volcano loomed silently like an ancient god.

He turned slowly to face the room.

"Ahem," he cleared his throat. "Ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for being here."

The murmuring stopped.

"I am Professor Xavier White, head of the Department of Negative Energy. Today, I will demonstrate Project NE-203307—code name: [Negative Energy]."

He let the words hang in the air.

"I know many of you have doubts. That's understandable. After all, what we seek defies conventional laws. But then again, so did electricity before we understood it."

He walked slowly toward the center of the room.

"Negative Energy is the mirror of positive energy—just as antimatter is the counterpart of matter. But while positive energy disperses from high concentration to low, Negative Energy accumulates. It converges where energy is absent. It flows in reverse."

"With the right conditions, we can attract it—channel it. And once we do… we can create an endless loop of power. A self-sustaining, infinite generator."

He paused. "I welcome your questions before we begin."

A government official stood. "Professor, this sounds similar to the idea of negative temperatures. Haven't we already observed those?"

Xavier nodded. "An excellent question."

He gestured toward the reinforced glass.

"What you call negative temperatures—like -5°C—are merely a convention. A scale. Water freezing at zero degrees Celsius is just a baseline. In reality, the *true* negative temperature is below absolute zero—zero Kelvin, or -273.15°C. At that point, atoms stop moving. Classical physics breaks down. Only quantum laws remain."

"In that state, certain particles can defy entropy—momentarily. And it is in that strange, impossible space… that Negative Energy can be formed."

Silence fell. Most of the politicians had no clue what he meant, but they nodded anyway.

'Idiots,' Xavier thought. 'You rule the world and understand none of it.'

Aloud, he said, "Now, I'll explain how we will create it."

He turned and pointed to the holographic schematic that appeared behind him—a spinning reactor, surrounded by layered rings of supercooled plasma.

"We'll use a plasma containment field seeded with quantum vacuum fluctuations. If successful, this will momentarily tear the boundary between normal energy states and subquantum entropy—inviting Negative Energy into our reactor."

"And once that happens, we will no longer need coal. Or oil. Or war."

He turned back toward the audience, eyes fierce.

"We will prove that the impossible… is real."
