His forehead rested against hers, their breaths mingling as he whispered, "Show me, bunny… what you want to learn."
"You're perfect…" Bella whispered, her voice so small and full of wonder that it almost shook him. She lifted both hands and placed them on his torso again, and Leo felt something heavy thud inside his chest.
Admiration. He felt he was seeing admiration in her eyes for him. Pure admiration for him.
It knocked the air out of him.
Her palms slid slowly across his abdomen, exploring the warm planes of muscle with gentle curiosity. Leo inhaled sharply, trying and failing..to steady his breath. Control, he reminded himself, but his heartbeat was moving in an uneven rhythm that betrayed him completely.
She touched his waist next, and his breath hitched.
