Leo's jaw clenched, his breath coming heavier now. "Bunny… you don't know what you're doing to me…" he murmured, his voice so low it sounded almost like a growl.
Bella pulled back slightly, her eyes wide and shining, cheeks red. "I think I do," she whispered, her smile soft and breathtaking. "You look… happy."
"Happy," he echoed, a shaky laugh leaving him as he slid one palm up her back, pulling her closer without even thinking. "That's one word for it."
She giggled softly, brushing her lips along the edge of his jaw again, and Leo sucked in a sharp breath, his head tipping back just enough to give her more space.
He thought she was retreating when she shifted back, and disappointment flickered across his face for the smallest second. But then Bella leaned in again, this time with a shy determination that made his breath stop entirely, and reached for the first button of his shirt.
