"Damn it, even using Kaio-ken…!!" As his senses returned and his face throbbed with pain, Nappa was filled with frustration.
He caught his breath, eyes scanning the arena for Vegeta, but Vegeta was nowhere to be seen.
Vegeta's figure had vanished from view, and even with Ki Sense, Nappa couldn't detect his Ki.
This situation made Nappa panic a little.
"Still just as slow as ever. I've been standing behind you for quite a while now." Vegeta's voice drifted lazily from behind Nappa.
Hearing this, Nappa was startled and immediately moved to put some distance between them.

He was fully prepared to face Vegeta as a Super Saiyan.
"As you wish!!" As soon as he finished speaking, a golden light flashed through Vegeta's eyes.
The surging S-cells within his body were drawn together, gathering at the center of his spine.
'Crackle—!!'
Golden aura, carrying an unparalleled pressure, expanded outward from Vegeta, golden arcs of lightning bursting around his body.
His wild, spiky hair shifted between black and gold, the overwhelming aura expanding recklessly.
Feeling the sheer intensity of this aura at close range, cold sweat slid down Nappa's cheek.
He could clearly sense just how powerful Vegeta's aura was now.
"Haaah~~!!" With a mighty shout from Vegeta, golden light exploded around him, his mighty aura sweeping in all directions and whipping up a storm.
Blond hair and green eyes, Super Saiyan 1 complete!
In truth, he could have finished the transformation to Super Saiyan 1 all at once, but in order to let Nappa truly experience his power, he deliberately slowed down the transformation.
