Two years later...
Damon and Alexander were touring one of the villages that had suffered an attack from rogue dragons.
Their faces were concerned as they took in the damage done.
Houses were burnt to the ground, villagers were rummaging through ruins trying to retrieve any belongings that had not been destroyed by dragon flames.
The dragon king had worked together with Valerion to help end attacks on human settlements but there were a few dragons that did not want to adapt to the new order of things.
The two species now coexisted in a balanced harmony but every once in a while, there were similar cases to the one that they were witnessing.
It was simply tragic.
The sound of a crying child pierced the air, drawing both Damon and Alexander's attention to a solider that was carrying a screaming toddler.
The child's face was smeared with smudges of soot and her blonde hair was nearly grey from ash.
