"Say something." Ebenezer coaxed softly and Silas' tongue darted out to moisten his lips that were suddenly dry as his heart ached with the familiar feeling of longing that the vampire had evoked in him.
He had spent most of his life keeping everyone at arms length from the fear of letting someone have so much power over him but as he looked into the warm blue eyes that were gazing at him, Silas was tempted to give in and let Ebenezer into his heart.
His hand was trembling as he slowly reached out and cupped Ebenezer's cheek, his golden eyes softening.
"I like you too." He admitted and his cheeks flushed as the gentle look in Ebenezer's eyes slowly turned into a smoldering one as the vampire looked at his lips.
"I want to kiss you. Can I kiss you?" Ebenezer's voice was hoarse with desire as his eyes met Silas' golden ones.
