"Wait....." Ebenezer called out to the wizard that was intent on putting as much distance between them and Silas involuntarily slowed his steps.
"I noticed you don't speak much. You have only said a few sentences since this trip started." Ebenezer noted when he finally caught up to the wizard.
Silas didn't really have a reply so he kept quiet and ignored the vampire.
A large portion of his brain was still focusing on taming the part of him that wanted to pounce on the unsuspecting vampire.
"Silas, we are stuck together for heaven knows how long and it would make the slightest difference if you could pretend to be interested enough to talk to me. I don't like silence." The vampire's voice was flirty but Silas could sense the underlying truth in his words.
He didn't mind an overextended period of silence but Ashford did and Silas sighed softly as he decided to pay the vampire some attention.
"I like silence." He murmured as he glanced at the vampire.
