"I can kill you." Ebenezer growled only for the anger and hatred in his eyes to slowly fade into curiosity as he noticed how close his face was to that of the wizard.
Ebenezer involuntarily noticed the way his emotionless golden irises were faintly outlined by a brown ring and the way his lower lip was permanently curled into a small smirk.
Like he knew something everyone else didn't.
A part of his subconscious yearned to wipe that arrogant smirk off as he quickly tore his eyes away from Silas' lips, meeting his eyes in a determined gaze as his knife slowly pierced his skin only to let out frustrated groan when Alexander interrupted him.
"Don't kill him. Not yet. He is the only one that knows the fastest way out of this forest." Alexander stopped him and Ebenezer grimaced in displeasure, slowly drawing his knife back to reveal the small cut on Silas' neck.
