Ellen woke up with a gasp, her body was sweaty. Each breath was difficult and her own body felt unfamiliar.
A dream? A nightmare? No, it was too real. There was no way in tell she could have dreamed all of that. Which means, that man and his spell worked! She had truly gone backemotions now she was in her younger self's body.
Looking around this room, she recognized it almost immediately. It was her bedroom in her family's mansion. Rushing out of bed, she frantically searched around for her phone and upon finding it. Immediately searched up the current date and year.
January 1,2065.
January 1st, 2065. That would mean she would be turning 10 this year and also when she would first awaken her eyes. A full 25 years before the Demon King would fully descend up in the world. Soon followed by Him.
Her heart pounded in excitement. Now she could save everyone, she could kill any future threats before they occurred and become stronger faster.
No more would she need to stumble blindly in the dark. She wouldn't ever make any dumb mistakes like she did last time. In these 25 years she had to make as best use of then as she could. To get as string as she could and save as many people as possible.
But first however was something more important, opening her bedroom door and walking into the hallway. She ran through the familliar hallways and soon reached a set of double doors.
Her heart pounded even louder. Past these doors, her parents should be asleep. Her parents who had died to a demon attack.
Slowly opening the doors, she walked in as quietly as she could.
She released a breath she didn't even realise she was holding.
Both sleeping together on the same bed, they image made Ellen a multitude of emotions.
Her mom and dad both looked exactly as she remembered them to be. Her fathers handsome face, with a slight stubble her mom always begged for him to shave and her mothers long silky blonde hair that she inherited.
Slowly walking towards them, she felt them stir awake from her presence.
"Ellen? What's wrong honey are you sick?"
Opening one of her eyes, her mom quietly asked.
Her voice was the same as well. Filled with motherly affection.Without realising it, teardrops started to form in her eyes.
"Ellen? Ellen?!Honey what's wrong why are you crying?"
Her dad slowly stirred awake aswell. Sitting up to face her, he noticed the droplets forming in her eyes and concerned for her asked.
She was full on crying at this point tears streamujg down her face like a waterfall. Climbing into the bed with her parents, she hugged both her mom and dad as tightly as she could.
"I-i think I had a nightmare."

Raymond smiled as he saw the happy embrace if the Grace family. Although it felt a bit weird sometimes calling her husband favourite character when she wwws a real person. He couldn't deny the fact that she held a special place in his heart.
But right now he had bigger problems.

Raymond had never even heard of such a crazy status effect. If he was a whale before, then he had become krill now.
Luckily invisibility magic was first circle magic, otherwise he would have been caught and likely arrested for spying on the Grace family!
Just the one invisibility spell had used up nearly half of all his mana, previously his mana reserves which could sustain the use of thousands of such invisibilities for an infinite amount of time had been an envy of countless mages now he was lower then even apprentice mages.
But that brought up a big problem as well.
How was Raymond supposed to get back to Earth? Calculating the faster time flow in this dimension, he would be late for work! With how competitive the job market was nowadays he would one hundred percent be fired for not showing up and ghosting everybody. He would practically be jobless for months afterwards.
His hard work would all go down the drain!
Luckily it seemed that the status effect would dissapear with time...
Nearly 22 years! Raymond was only 23 years old meaning that was already nearly his entire life!
Ahem. His Earth age of course. His real age was unknown even to Raymond. Since he spent most if it just studying magic after all who had tines for something irrelevant like birthdays?
Using his invisibility spell, he quickly ran out the room while the Grace family were still embracing each other.
As much as he wanted to watch, his low mana reserves meant he only had a few minutes before his invisibility ran out! Luckily he was still wearing his robes which gave a slight increase to his manna reserves, otherwise his invisibility would have run out even faster!
Quickly running through the hallways however, he immediately encountered a massive problem
'Where the hell do I go?!'
After stopping for a bit to catch his breath. Something the past him wouldn't even have struggled with. The reduced stats were the worst. He quickly made up his mind on where to go.
Retracing his steps, he returned to Ellen's room. Opening her walk in closet, he looked around a bit before finding a perfect spot.
A dark corner, hidden by numerous hanging dresses. Pushing a few more random clothing he found, he made a makeshift wall and crawled into the clothing.
After arranging the clothing so that nothing looked suspicious, he lied down as comfortably as he could and tried to fall asleep.
While trying to fall asleep, his brain churned out several ideas on how he should survive in thus world until he at least regained some of his strength.
He sighed again, with his past stats and bonuses he could go months without sleep. Now he felt tired after only several hours of writing his novel and casting the time reversal spell.
Raymond, a man who stood at the peak of two different magic disciplines. Not just that, he stood st the peak of two of the most difficult magic disciplines, magic that he himself created and pioneered.
Now reduced to hiding in the closet of a little girl, covered with clothes like some kind of pervert. If his father saw this he would definitely laugh at him for years and years.

Being startled awake by the door opening, Raymond's adrenaline quickly shook off any grogginess he had.if he was caught niew everything would be in vain then! Being careful not to move too much, he slowly mover a few of the clothes to try and get a good view.
After a combination of wriggling, squirming and shaking very very slightly. He managed to get a small opening near his right eye that let him see into the walk in closet.
Seeing only the young Ellen and no one else, he checked whether the closet door was closed and seeing that it was. Stood up and revealed himself.
In his head, Raymond had wanted to reveal himself in a more dignified manner. However, reality proved otherwise as his foot tripped over some article of clothing sending him tumbling forwards.
Ellen, luckily didn't scream or shout. Something Raymond was very grateful for. Because he wasn't quite yet ready to be labeled as a pervert.
"What are you doing in here? And why were you hiding in my clothes? "
Maybe Raymond was imagining things, but he could swear that last sentence held a tone of mockery towards him.
"It's because of you damnit, after casting that time reversal I'm extremely weakened right now. Can't even cast a teleport to get me out if this mansion. Which is why I need your help so please don't alert anyone"
He grumbled as he stood up from his less then dignified fall. Shaking of any remaining clothes that hung on him.
Ellen looked amused as he explained himself. Raymond felt his own pride shatter as he stared back at her.
Being judged by someone whose just turning 10 years old...
Even if she was technically an adult in a child's body, right now she wasnt even double digit in terms of age.
And he was being judged by someone like that!
"Well, you did give me this second chance so of course I'll help you. What do you need?"
Luckily, she was a merciful god and offered her help.
"Well for starters, I need money, an identity, lots of mana stones, some sort of jewelry ideally a ring or a necklace oh and also I need you to do what I say. "
His plan which he had though of yesterday night was now going to come into fruition. A plan that would guarantee him what he needed, and as a side bonus would let him stay close to the main characters.
