At the end of last year, Link's eight songs from his new album swept across the country, and at the beginning of the year, Dao Lang, a singer from the Western Regions, stirred the entire music scene with the song "The First Snowfall of 2002." The song was played in the streets and alleys of Capital City, and its popularity was no less than that of several songs from Link's new album last year.
This also led to a melee on the domestic music scene, with some supporting Jay Chou, some supporting Link, and some supporting Dao Lang.
In terms of popularity, Link's new album has a slight edge, as Jay Chou's songs are more avant-garde and the lyrics are not very clear, appealing mostly to fans born in the 80s and 90s.
