Conrad took a long, deliberate breath to calm his nerves, but mostly it was to process everything that had happened thus far.
His nostrils took in the smell of smoke, scorched metal, and the bit of chaos that was transpiring around him.
Ahead, just a few meters away, was Thrash fighting like a cornered animal. His wires snapped and danced like whips of silver wavy lines while deflecting against Cassian's finer and thinner threads.
Even though he was faced with someone leagues above his own technique, Thrash was grinning throughout the entire exchange. Granted the only card he hadn't played so far was his Enchanted, the guitar behind his back, so he still had somewhat of a power move to play.
Then again, Cassian's abilities were a full mystery as well. But it was quite impressive how
Thrash was able to move so well with that big bag behind his back.
He deserved that sort of recognition at least.
"But ah well, guess we'll have to deal with this by ourselves."
