Mae began explaining something, pausing for a bit as if to let the gravity of what she said sink in. It did not, unfortunately.
Conrad was still so shocked about what he was seeing before him that he didn't get the chance to ask what was happening.

"Crossing the Sovereign State's border unnoticed is broadline impossible. Security there is so tight in a way you wouldn't believe. That's classified information so don't ask about it."
