Not long after meeting Yun'fa, Nikolai, Zara and Clara were being escorted to a secure villa just outside the city, protected by the Shadow Guard and listed under a merchant group.
The mansion itself was beautiful, big enough to be seen from the city gates, with a native Middle Eastern style of architecture. It had two massive pools and an exotic garden of imported flowers that bloomed in the harsh conditions.

Nikolai sat in the back of a small carriage with his back against the wall, watching the two moons as his body shook from the rocky path.
