Rose grabbed her phone from under her pillow and a small cloth bag – it contained the few possessions she truly valued, including the scroll Felonious had given her.
She wouldn't need the 'slave quarter' now. She was going to the dark castle. Her new home. And she was going to demand answers from Cassius.
He had better given her a good reply for why he never mentioned the full moon to her.
Aisling watched Rose's worried face, "Was it what I said?" She asked quietly.
Rose blinked and realised that she was standing by the bed looking like a pissed mistress.
She forced her face to soften, "No, no, Aisling. It's not you or what you said. I'm just lost in my thoughts. I should be going now. I'll see you soon." She smiled at Aisling and waved.
"Bye, Rose," Aisling murmured as Rose left the room.
She hoped she hadn't caused a problem between the master and his mate by saying what she wasn't supposed to say... she really hoped so.
