Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: World of pain

People..villages.. cities.. kingdoms.. countries.. and worlds... Lives that flourish, lives that suffer, and lives that are on the line, in danger of wars and conflicts.

At the dead of night, a large camp on a large hill full of human soldiers, on a suicide mission in the attempt to strike back on the orcs that had retaliated since they attacked first in the past, and now the kingdom wants revenge. As guards patrol with spears at hand and swords at their hilts, walking around in heavy armor as men sleep in their tents, torches and campfires illuminating their site as there are defensive spikes surrounding the camp as the men believe they are safe for now while the night is silent yet the air is tense as they are in the wilderness within enemy territory, the guards are tired in this sort of work, risking their lives for battles that their superiors cannot even fight for themselves, nobles and rulers that value their own lives other than what they think are tools or pawns though they're lives risked for the higher ups' own agendas, nevertheless, these soldiers only know how to serve just to survive. Two soldiers speak as they guard their posts, one says to the other

"Hey man, do you ever just think of being something other than being a soldier for this army?" The other replies "Not particularly, it's only job where I can feed my family"

they pause for a moment and the first soldier speaks again "Oh come on, you've never thought being a knight? A blacksmith? Or a craftsman or something?"

The other replies again "Well its the easiest job to get though in danger, our family gets paid, enough, so that they don't go hungry, that's all that matters to me"

the first one sighs head down in disappointment "alright then, I don't blame you either way, this how we live, it our indomitable will to move forward despite our situation".

Although this night, their will to survive will be tested.. The night grow more eerily silent, as the winds start to blow an unsettling whistle and clouds covering the moon as the land become darker, the two armed soldiers looking around as a sudden chill runs down their spine, crawling on them as if their instincts are telling them that somethings coming. One says whispering shakily

"D-d-do you feel that??" The other shaking out of fear as-well says "W-w-what th-the hell is this f-feeling?? Like s-somethings at our throats??…".

Trembling in their armor as the air fill with thick and heavy pressure coming from the dark forest in front of them, as the ground shakes though it is faint they hear the loud crashing of wood and roaring of fires as the screams of men in agony

"WE'RE BEING AMBUSHED" another says "ORCS, GET YOUR WEAPONS" and another screams "RUN!! THEY'VE GOT BURNING RUNES"

while metals clash in battle, bones crackle, the sound of flesh torn to shreds, these two haven't been attacked yet, though they panic had they turned around and are horrified as they see orcs rampaging and demolishing the camp, men scrambling for their weapons to try fending off orcs. However these two who guarded one side of the camp attempt to flee and find refuge else where,

"WE NEED TO GO!" The soldier shouts "INTO THE WOODS?! THATS DANGEROUS!!" The other shouts, "ITS BETTER THAN FIGHTING ORCS WHO ALREADY HAVE THE UPPER HAND! COME ON!"

They take what they can from their post and ran down the hill toward the forest through narrow dirt path, but they are stunned in place out of shock between the camp and the forest as the pressure weighs them down and they tremble while gripping onto their weapons like their live depended on them, however, gripping on such weak weapons will not save them from the beast in the forest as it has made it clear that their fate is already sealed. There were rumors of phenomenons that make warriors spirits crumble and freeze in place while they tremble like frail dogs, both of the soldiers think in their head as they feel their body to be unresponsive

"Why can't I move?!"

They clench their teeth bracing themselves as an ear piercing shrieking roar booms from the forrest like wailing lady yet also bellowing orc coming from the forest, their hearts racing out of their chest as birds scatter as the creature charges forward holding an axe bigger than itself with bloody red glowing eyes that burns with fury, as it comes out of the shadows a slender figure but masculine and scarred, rough leather with spiked armor and a fur cloak, it wasn't human. Emerged from the darkness was an orc however it wasn't as ugly and large nor was it slow and clumsy, they see a human like body a physique a female warrior would have though larger than normal, as if her eyes were almost human but still wild with an ominous color while her teeth still had tusks which is one of the only things that fully resembles an orc as much the pointy ears and green skin, the men were in utter shock while they try to scream yet only are able squeak to see a human like orc that came out of the forest, though a sight that is short lived due to them being cleaved without even having time to comprehend what happened to their bodies, cut in half without being able to hear a sound or a feel anything happen, just a rush of confusion, shock, and coldness. As blood drains out and guts spill from the body of the two men, the sky opens as the clouds part and drift away from the moon as it gleam over the battlefield while stained red and green while also black from the soot from the torches as plumes of smoke make a pillar of black clouds, the camp hushed as the troops of ambushing orcs retreat with the wounded and all there are left are the strongest warriors of the human camp still standing yet injured, six soldiers, three captains, five archers, two mages, and two nobles one child and father ready to fight what comes next, except this fight is not something they can win as the only orc left in the battle field is more than a human or an orc though possibly the best of both worlds, a creature which her loud shrieks that echoes are followed by brutality that is comparable to more than an army of orcs that clashed with kingdoms. Then she speaks herself,

"Vengeance is best served as a rude awakening, foolish little creatures like these should know who they pick a fight against, as my tribe are more than just orcs" grinning eerily up the hill "We are the abomination orcs, born to strike harder and differently from any other. All who enrage us will feel our carnage, though they are intriguing, as they are seek their revenge, picking a fight they can't even finish.. ".
